I submitted a warranty request to Dyson for a new unit and was told this was a common problem. It's been about 40 days and they keep telling me there is a shortage of replacements and I need to wait on shipments. Doing a web search on the unit confirms it seems to happen often, which isn't so much of an issue if it could be replaced effectively.

Light but terrible battery life.

Battery life only last less than 10 minutes if I use full power. Worse, you can't even use it while plugged in to the power adapter.

Vaccum works good but didn't last long

Luckily we had a warranty and we were able to get it replaced free of charge. For what you pay for this vacuum, you shouldn't have these kind of problems.

Good Suction/ Does last long

It doesn't stay on longer than 10 minutes though. I am trying to exchange but impossible to get in touch with Best Buy since Corona.

Please keep in mind that your machine will offer three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. Along with three different suction modes, you will also have a suction control slider at the cleaner head for use with cleaning across both hard floors and carpet. As a result, we would not expect you to require the MAX suction setting, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job.
In suction setting 2, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date. think twice - poor customer service

It will be at least 4 weeks before replacement part is received and not sure if that will actually fix the issue. Dyson refused to express mail part and representatives just don't care.

Small Clean

If your house is all carpet I recommend not getting this unless you wanna take all day to clean your house waiting for this to charge. Its great for chairs and small clean up, but I use the big ball dyson more often

Started giving me trouble after two vacuums of my room and a hallway. What? How much are these things, hundreds and hundreds of dollars?! Lol. Well, don’t be fooled. Once upon a time Dyson made amazing products, but now you have to pick and choose because some of them are just garbage. Buyer beware. Not to mention, I return mine, and I want to see the other vacuums, only to learn my vacuum had been clearanced. Well of course it’s been clearanced, it’s garbage!!!
