My husband really loves this vac. It is long lasting and powerful. This is our second and upgraded Dyson cordless animal. We are very happy about this purchase.

I have a V7 and also another brand vacuum but the V10 animal is the best! Easily picks up my dogs hair from the couch and carpet!

This vacuum works! I didn’t think it would do what it advertised, but it literally picks up every single dog hair in the carpet. GameChanger.

I initially didn’t buy into the hype, but after purchasing this it was surprising how good of a vacuum this was. This particular one is really good for small jobs, like dust in small areas. While the battery will last for quite a while, I did find that the weight of the motor in hand is significant and my hand would ache if I did my whole 1-bed carpeted apartment with this. The portability is also great for using this to clean the floor mats and other areas of car interiors.

I love the Dyson. It holds its charge well at this point and cleans tile floors well.

I recently received this vacuum to replace a Shark ION. I will base this review based on my Shark and my Dyson upright. First impressions were that this vacuum is well built and comfortable in the hand to use. Let me back up and tell you I have carpet on the second floor and steps and dark hardwood on the first floor. I also have two large golden retrievers and a cat that shed CONSTANTLY! When I first charged the vacuum based on the instructions I was eager to test it. This very first thing I noticed was there was no tangle in the brush role. Even after 5 vacuums since, the brush role is clear of any hair from my pets or my wife. My Shark needs cleaning with a razor knife almost every two days because it get so saturated with hair. I also noticed the battery lasts much longer than the Shark and it has quite a bit more suction. The charging is also much faster; ~3 hrs vs. ~5 hrs. The problem with the Shark ION is that as it fills with hair, it restricts the suction where as the Dyson does not, the hair is directed in a totally separate bin so it doesn't affect the airflow. The attachments are also everything you need to clean furniture, blinds, ceiling fans, and stairs. The Dyson has 3 power options and 3 suction options but does not have a brushroll speed option like the Shark. One feature I love about the Shark that the Dyson does not have is the LED lights on the brushroll. One might not think this is a big deal but when the lights are dim the lights enable you to see every hair that you might not have otherwise seen. Overall I love this and the Shark is headed to the garage or basement. My reason for deducting a star is the price and the lights. I think the price is too high but you could use this for your whole house if you wish. It goes over shag rugs, carpet and hardwood with no problem at all. The brushroll is not as wide as the upright but I think it does as good of job. If you have pets and are tired of cleaning brushrolls this is the vacuum for you!

Practical and convenient. Very lightweight. I use it on my sofa, hardwood floors and carpet. It picks up even my dogs fine hair

This is our third Dyson vacuum and as always it continues to impress. The vacuum has improved battery life and is great on all of our surfaces.

Best vacuum cleaner ever. I always wanted a good dyson product for cleaning but most often they are super expensive. It was in my cart for almost a year then black friday deal happened and i want able to get a great deal on v10 for $399. Its so easy to clean and compared to my old cleaner I can see the difference. Definitely recommend it you want quality cleaning for long time

It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It is really impressive with its cleaning power. It works so well that my 19 year old son even started vacuuming.

Meeting expectations when it comes to suction and cleaning power at a reasonable noise level. Battery life is horrible! After a full charge it completely dies out after less than 30 minutes at Level2 power so I can barely finish a room and I have to wait for about 3 hours to start cleaning again so I’m spending the whole weekend vacuuming. Good for a studio apartment or a dorm room but definitely not a house.

This is a great vacuum. Great suction and makes vacuuming the stairs quick and easy. Highly recommend.
