This vaccum replace a Royal vacuum that I paid 750 dollars for. And a best in class Hover. What a convieniant blessing. No it does not vaccum my house on one charge. But I totally don't care. I have so many thing to do and can come back to it latter. Great for hard floors and up to medium carpet. I have the heaviest carptet you can possibly get in three rooms. And it will work but you need to drag the vacuum toward you. Which is not a problem at all it's so light. And yes it vacuums very well even in the very heavy carpet (but you must drag the vacuum towards you) My house is 4000 square feet. I would plan on doing half at medium setting. I didn't time it but it seems to last maybe 25 minutes at this setting. Let me be very clear. I through away 1200 dollars in heavy vacuums. And I absolutely love this light weight vacuum. It has a small learning curve. But the learning curve only gives way to how incredibly easy and manuverable this vacuum it. Sooooohhhh convieniant and light.

Pros: 1.Battery life. Our house is 2000 sq ft of hardwood and tile. I am able to vacuum the whole house on one charge at medium strength. 2. Ease of use. We already had a traditional Dyson Vacuum but it was so clunky to take up and down the stairs. The V10 is so light yet powerful. 3. Also, got this at a great price on Black Friday. Cons: 1. Battery is not replaceable. I am not the type of person that needs the latest, greatest gadget. I like my items to last, especially at this price point. Not looking to upgrade a vacuum annually like a phone every time the battery dies. 2. Lack of on/off switch. It seems like such a trivial flaw but after awhile it becomes awkward to constantly have to hold the power button down while vacuuming. Also, I inadvertently turn it on whenever I empty the canister. This may be an issue for people with carpal tunnel or joint problems. 3.Aesthetics. Mainly the color combo. I think the purple and red combo is so tacky. I think it would have been more inline with Dyson’s innovation design language to have a more sleek and modern color palette approach. I would have preferred a matte white, black, or silver unit with a tone on tone badging. 4. Not truly an all-round equipments. We have 2 area rugs. On the rug with the 2 in pile this works fine but our other rug which is 3 inches we have to use the traditional vacuum. The suction is strong enough but this causes me to have to really push or pull along the carpet causing the head to flip around. Also feels as if the pressure could bend the stick part. Verdict: Would I recommend this vacuum, definitely. Does it replace a traditional vacuum,no. If you only have hardwood or tile floors I would say go for it but if you have higher pile carpet I would recommend going with a traditional vacuum. That being said, the pros outweigh the cons for me and I am so glad I made this purchase.

Bought this on sale and am so glad I did, it is easy to grab and clean up a room for a few minutes. I use it in the kitchen on linoleum, carpet and wood floors Great suction. Easy to dump debris. Bought another for a friend. The attachments don't always seem intuitive to me, but that could just be me. Did use it to clean out my car and it did a great job. I have never had an issue with the battery.

I give it 4 stars only because it’s annoying that you have to hold the power button to keep it on. It starts to hurt after 10 minutes and they should have a way to lock it in. Also, I fill up the canister quickly so thankfully it’s easy to empty. It sucks up cat hair and cat litter very well so no complaints about that. It’s light weight and I can easily take it up and down the stairs. Don’t use it in turbo or the battery dies wayyyyy to quickly. If used on the lowest setting it will last for me to clean the whole house.

I was hesitant to buy this vacuum because we already had a dyson and thought I didn’t need a new one. Boy I was wrong. I finally caved because I was very attracted to the fact it was cordless, but had my doubts about its power. Safe to say I was wrong. Happy to report this cordless really does perform like a corded vacuum if not better. Super easy to use and operate. A bit heavy after using it on the whole house but that’s the only complaint.

I bought the Dyson V10 Animal cordless vacuum specifically because it was marketed as ideal for pet owners—and because the cordless design sounded convenient. But after months of use, I can honestly say it’s been more frustrating than helpful. The suction power is underwhelming, especially considering the price and the fact that it's supposed to handle pet hair. It just doesn't pull up debris as well as you'd expect from a premium vacuum—even on hard floors or light rugs. Worse, the dust bin is a pain to empty without creating a mess. Cleaning the vacuum becomes its own chore, which defeats the point. Battery life? Forget it. Even after a full charge, the vacuum doesn’t last long enough to clean more than a room or two—especially on the higher settings where you actually get decent suction. And then it takes forever to recharge. After all that, I find myself going back to my old, cheaper, corded vacuum. Sure, I have to fight with the cord, but at least it actually cleans. After reading other reviews, I can see I’m not alone: Many people report disappointing battery life Others complain about the messy dustbin and weak suction And quite a few agree that for pet hair, it’s not as effective as promised Yes, it looks sleek and the idea of cordless is nice—but if you actually need it to do the job, especially with pets, this vacuum falls flat. For the price, I expected a lot more. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Great for pet hair, lightweight, many attachments!

Suction is great, everything is easy. My only complaint is it goes did quickly, but works great and i have multiple cat and it cleans very good.

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever used. The price is quite expensive but I think it’s worth every penny. It’s powerful and convenient to carry around the house. The best thing I love about it is that the hairs doesn’t stuck to the brush and even if it does, it’s very easy to be removed. The battery lasts up to an hour and doesn’t take much time to recharge.

Best Purchase! User friendly for everyone. Easy to travel with so I took it to my mom’s while I stayed. She loves it and FaceTimes me to show me her using it. I have a cat so using the smaller attachment to vacuum the couch, beanbags, etc has been amazing. we also are able to charge it and take it outside to clean the cars, etc. So glad i finally have one! The battery life isn’t the best but i keep it on low if I’m doing maintenance and use the boost on carpet and deep cleaning days.

This vacuum is phenomenal. I vacuumed with my previous vacuum which I considered to be a very good vacuum. Came behind it with this Dyson and picked up a full container of dirt, dust and trash that was not picked up by my previous vacuum. Easy to use and maintain, comes with multiple attachments. I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum.
