Let's be honest. I bought it because it was a Dyson, but I did not want to commit to the more expensive one. This thing is excellent for spot cleaning, with all the suction you need and all the noise you don't. But excellent vacuum, battery life is not the best hence the "spot cleaning"; it is perfect for quick cleaning around as it does not weigh much and carries a lot of power.

Ok, I have to say that, at first, I had a bit of buyer's remorse. I didn't intend to actually buy a cordless vac at Best Buy that day, and I certainly didn't intend to spend $500 on one. And then I started using it. WOW! It is - easy to use, picks up everything, runs a LONG time on a charge, has easy on/off attachments, push button bin emptying, etc. Yes, it's a bit spendy, but that what credit is for... right??

I’m picky with vacuums and I absolutely love this one! I can vacuum my whole main floor without it losing power, it sucks everything up, and the roll never gets caught up. I will stick with Dyson vacuums forever.

Best suction ever but more importantly no more cords to wind up or get tangled. Easily switch from a full size to a small compact vacuum to use on furniture or stairs. I’m so happy my husband got me this for Christmas. Almost as good as the gift he got me a few years (Dyson blow dryer/curling wand). The only negative is that the vacuum is loud. Come on Dyson, figure out how to make a silent vacuum!

I purchased this because I wanted a lightweight, powerful vacuum for my stairs and upstairs. I have a Dyson for downstairs, and I really like it. I didn't realize that you must continually press the power button for it to run. I was initially frustrated with even the thought of it at first, to the point that I was going to take it back. However, I kept using it, and now it's not a problem. It's quick, easy, and lightweight. Most of all, it's powerful and picks up quickly. Glad I made the purchase.

So far this Dyson is working very well to vacuum mostly my bedroom often and quickly, I can easily get under the bed. Using the power boost does not drain the battery too quickly, but it charges very quickly as well. It is easy to use and picks up so much more than my previous vacuum. Especially having dogs, this vacuum is essential. I love the color too.

I think my wife loves this vacuum more than she loves me! She uses this thing daily and I have even caught the kids using it a couple of times. Light weight, picks up everything, holds a charge long enough to get our entire down stairs. Works great picking up all of the dog hair on our hard wood floors. The attachments go on and off easily. A really great vacuum.

Powerful, quiet and the charge lasts a looooong time

Perfect for my space. Quick cleanup is a breeze and actually a little fun now. The (boost) power mode comes in handy but even the minimum setting is enough to get the job done. The ease of use, lightweight, pivoting head and super easy cleanup via one lever dump with absolutely zero mess. No cord and plenty of run time. Im Dyson for life now.

Lightweight and great for light cleaning on hardwood floors and low pile rugs. Not great on deeper pile carpet. Battery life is adequate for 30 minutes or so of medium cleaning. (We’ve had for around a year now…)

I have a five year old Dyson V6 Cordless Stick Vacuum. The new V10 is superior in every way. The battery lasts 60 minutes instead of 20. It has twice the waste storage capacity. It is much quieter. The vacuum power is much greater. The large powered attachment works perfectly on vinyl plank or hardwood or on rugs and carpet. This is a great vacuum.

I am obsessed with the Dyson cordless stick vacuum. I purchased this vacuum as a replacement to my first which lasted about 7 years. Talk about great quality! This vacuum has a long battery life and has such strong suction even on the lower settings. I am so impressed with this vacuum. Highly recommended.

I felt obligated to write a review on my Dyson after giving a scathing review of a Shark cordless vacuum I ultimately returned. For starters, I was very weary of buying a Dyson. Not only is the price point much higher than any other cordless vacuum, Consumer Reports will not recommend Dyson due to a history of longevity issues. However, every independent test rates Dyson the best in cleaning power, so I thought I'd roll the dice and give it a try. Let me say... this thing is freaking awesome! So light and easy to use! As expected, it did a perfect job on my hardwood floors. What has truly blown me away is how it performs on my carpets and large rugs. I turn it up to its Max setting, and you can feel it pulling on the carpet. It was shocking how much the Dyson sucked up (and how much my old cord vacuum left behind)! The first time I used it, I must have emptied the canister 10 times! So glad I paid the extra money for the Cyclone V10, which has a canister 40% larger than its previous models. Granted, I have a German "Shedder", so it was necessary for me. The charging station and additional tools really make the Dyson worth the hefty price tag. I'm just praying that I can get a few years out of this bad boy!

I love this vacuum! It replaces my old one which cleaned well but had several attachments and was very unwieldy. With this new lightweight one, I can maneuver it almost anywhere, and it picks up the hair from all my cats, as well as ‘normal’ household dirt. And it’s easy to clean, itself. I don’t hate to vacuum anymore.
