I bought this because we have quite a few furry friends and this gets ALL the hair. It works better than any vacuum I’ve ever used. In my opinion, the best feature is being able to vacuum the couches and car with ease. Works on every surface without skipping a beat!

Love this Dyson cordless ! Has all the attachments one could need . A little awkward emptying canister. Had to exchange first one due to battery charge problems . Still love this cleaning tool

Bought it as a second vacuum to use on stairs, in a car and for hard to reach places, but haven’t even touched my corded vacuum since I got Dyson V10. Awesome suction on highest power setting, but battery only last enough to do one floor of the house at the time.

Third Dyson we have purchased and really liked them all. This is the 2nd cordless one and this one is much more powerful than the last and I am very pleased with the huge improvement in how you empty the canister, the last one was messy.

So, it’s a Dyson. It does a really good job at vacuuming. My only complaints is there is no lights on the roller heads and cleaning the unit is t as easy as it seems. Emptying it? Yes, that’s a breeze. Cleaning it? Ehhhh, not so much

Great product. Purchased as a Christmas gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Cleans up the dog hair and she can also use it on the hardwood floors. Attachments are simple. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of the short battery life on the highest setting. Believe it only runs for about 7 minutes on that setting.

Works great I have a dog that sheds so much that we have to vacuum twice a week. Works great on picking up pet hair and being cordless is great, you don’t have to keep up plugging it to plug into a different outlet.

What can i say about these Dyson stick vacs other than they are great! They work so well. This is an upgrade over our v7 and this sucks much better. A little heavier but still really good. They also last quite a long time.

Great vacuum. Very versatile. Light weight, easy to use. Great suction as well. I knocked of one star only because on highest power setting the battery drains pretty quickly. Overall a great vacuum and a great deal at $349 Black Friday price. At regular price of $499 would still be a great vacuum, but may have opted for the V8 animal pro.

Cut the cord! Go ahead and do it. It is worth the money. Although I would say I’d like the battery to last a little longer. You get used to putting it back on the charger. The power and suction make the battery life bearable.

This vacuum is the best I have ever used. It is a well engineered product. I regularly use it to clean carpets,rugs and hard wood. My only complaint is that they could have used a larger battery as the charge lasts only for 50minuts on average use.

The Dyson seems to have enough power to work very well vacuuming our ceramic tile floors. It very easily reaches under furniture, beds tables etc. it’s so great to not have to haul a cord around. Being on sale was good too !

This is a great machine for any household with multiple types of floors. Setup was super easy and the included wall mounting kit makes it easy to hang for charging virtually anywhere. Once out of the box, the only assembly that's really needed is the wall mounting kit. Outside of that, just need to do an initial charge that took a couple hours on my unit before using it. I absolutely loved all of the attachments that come with this vacuum as they give your vacuum flexibility of being able to be used on just about any surface. The bagless design works really well and is really easy to empty - and the way it empties minimizes dust and any mess. The only thing I wish it had was either a special plate to hold all the attachments to the wall or a bag to hang them in either on the wall or nearby. The most important part of any vacuum is the amount of suction and power that it has in relation to battery life. This unit does not disappoint!! I was able to completely vacuum my kitchen and downstairs area where I have birds and a small dog that's always making a mess on the rugs. What I love about this machine are the different heads and suction power levels that it has. For the rugs, the motorized carpet head works great and is even height adjustable so you can influence the amount of suction that it has for any given surface. Unlike others, I have the medium and lower power settings make it so it doesn't eat up the rug. A quick switch out to the hardwood floor attachment makes it easy to clean up dust, hair and other debris with ease. I was sceptical of battery life and this machine outperforms any I have tried or had in the past. I was able to do my kitchen, dining room, living room and some stairs and only ran the battery down 1 bar with 3 left to go. I'd easily been using it on the medium suction setting for a good 20 minutes solid so very impressed with it in this regard. Also unlike other machines, it didn't get hot on the medium setting and the battery didn't even seem to get warm on my machine - which is a HUGE plus. I've used coreless machines in the past that chew through batteries because they get them hot under heavy use which reduces their overall life greatly and this machine doesn't seem prone to that which made me feel confident in using it for everyday moderate use - very nice! In all, very impressed with how versatile this machine is and how well it works! I anticipate this machine lasting a good long while and being useful for several years to come. Would definitely recommend!

Very light and being cordless is very convenient. This picks up all the pet hair we have around a lot better than our last vacuum. The mounting plate only has 2 places to hang extra attachments, but that isn't a big deal.

I really don't know what all the fuss is about a Dyson vacuum. Bought a full sized one about 15 years ago and felt it was overpriced. Decided to try out this cordless model after years of reading all the amazing reviews. Whelp, once again, I feel this is very overpriced for what it offers. It's no easier to use, more powerful, or cleaner to empty than other high-end cordless stick vacuums that are half it's price. The slide mechanism to empty the basket is clunky and sticks at times. It often needs a few passes to pick up crumbs and debris. The regular rotating head attachment is loud and clunky sounding. The soft roller bar attachment shoots debris around and often doesn't pick up larger crumbs. The power trigger must be constantly depressed to run the vacuum and my hand gets fatigued. Just overpriced for what it is. This purchase has confirmed that these Dyson vacuums are just overpriced!

Vacuum cleaning was a burden before Dyson. With two kids, moving the old fashioned vacuum from plug to plug was hard. Now our life changed in a positive way. Whenever we need, we’re just cleaning without an extra effort.

Easy to use and install Powerful vacuum But little be heavy than V8

This has good suction and picks up pretty good especially off the large rugs. It does a good job on the hardwood and tile floor using the attachment. I wish the dirt cup was bigger and I especially wish the vacuum heads were larger. It is hard to keep straight and I agree it is silly there is not a lock on the power button

With four children and a constantly shedding dog (Frenchie) the Dyson V10 Animal Pro is the dream vacuum! Children in various sports, tracking in dirt from soccer, football and softball fields on tile and carpet, you need to have either disciplined kids to take off all those items post house entry or an amazing vacuum. Well, we have the disciplined kids AND an amazing vacuum! For those, quick run ins from outside inside and anything else that pops up. The device can handle it all. Small debris to the fairly large debris, clean up is quick and easy. Our Frenchie loves to lay on the couch or picks her favorite spot on the carpet, next to her bed (eye roll) and the Dyson picks up everything with minimal effort. This device is extremely light weight, making it a breeze to vacuum the stairway in our home, which consists of 19 steps. Various attachments allow the cleaning of the corners on the stairway easy when the main vacuum head can’t reach it. When the main vacuum head gets hair, etc wrapped around it, you can unlock the side and remove the inner brush to dislodge the wrapped around hair on the brush, a great feature! What makes it even easier, its cordless! Of course, the main vacuum head cleaner and floor cleaner have the Dyson Ball, so moving under the stairway, under the couch, chair, kitchen table super easy to reach. Want to go a bit further under furniture, just lower the vacuum closer to the ground and you’ll reach it. Because of the stick design this is possible. There are three suction modes, One, Two or Max. In a home of about 3,000 Sq. ft, using the Dyson V10 on two, you can clean the entire carpet and hard floors. On Max, I was able to clean almost half the house. Using Max suction, would be ideal for those very dirty areas, using suction two should be used on a regular cleaning schedule. Your attachments include, main cleaner head (power rotation), hard floor cleaner (power rotation), crevice tube, two debris brushes, pet hair head (power rotation). These are all great for home use, of course but let’s move on to your vehicles! I cleaned two of my vehicles with this vacuum, that’s how versatile it is. It doesn’t pick up mud or any liquids, don’t try that. But everything else in between was a cinch!. Cleaning the canister, flip the little red lever downward and boom, there opens the bottom of the canister and all dirty falls right out. Sometimes, you may need to stick your fingers in the top part of the canister to remove some hair, etc. as it gets caught in the top. Charging the Dyson V10 doesn’t take long once at all. My average charge time was between 2-3 hours once the battery was completely dead. After cleaning my home, it would read one battery level remaining and that would take about 1.5 hours to charge. Of course this all depends on what power setting is in use. When mounting the charging station, I would recommend using toggle bolts to anchor the base. The screws and anchors provided for me, weren’t up to par when mounting on drywall. I am absolutely in love with this vacuum. Haven’t owned a better vacuum, ever and I have owned Dyson’s before. Our carpets haven’t looked cleaner or our tile floors on a consistent basis. As you all know it takes a lot of time to clean both at the same time, with our four children and a dog, the Dyson V10 has cut that time down dramatically. On the expensive side for a vacuum, yes, but it is worth every single penny. Dyson has outdone themselves.
