That is probably a good thing. Battery life drains quickly on high speed. It does pick up amazingly well. As good or better than my plug in vacuum.

Cordless is the way to go!

Battery run time took some getting used to, if you run on the highest power you will drain it quickly. But, if you adjust it as needed, it easy does the whole house (1650 sq ft).

I may be paying double the price or slightly more for similar other brands but I believe its worth it ratger than hit roadblocks on fine prints warranties! Mydyson guves me teo years guarantee on their battery efficiency and to me its a winner by itself. I don't mind paying for filter etc and i take care of my dyson
