Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the Cyclone V10 Animal Pro's impressive suction, ease of use, and long battery life as key strengths. Many appreciate its lightweight design and powerful performance, along with the multiple attachments included. However, some users mention the small dustbin requiring frequent emptying and the relatively high price point as drawbacks. A few also noted minor concerns about the wall mount and trigger mechanism.

could have some enhancements
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.trigger should have a lock so you don't have to keep holding it when using it. unit is kind of heavy on my wrist based on having to hold the trigger.

The absolute BEST
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have many vacuums whether bought, gifted, or acquired for the purposes of testing we have what I know to be more than most traditional families. The reason we have so many is simple... We have a Great Pyrenees fuzzy friend. Our house has tile and carpet throughout and keeping it clean with him is a Nightmare and almost an impossible task or at least an everyday task. I have used so many would be "Pet" cleaner vacuums; some actually do a pretty good job but nothing like this little Dyson does. The Dyson V10 out of the box was easy to assemble and simple to understand usage wise (what attachments do what). The unit had enough power to see why Dyson's are so sought after. I charged the device for the recommend time and was off to the races. I was able to deep clean vacuum our adequately sized three-bedroom home on a full charge with more to spare. The unit is so lite that I am simply amazed at the Suction power it produces. To give a good testing, I vacuumed our bedroom with my "Not Bad" vacuum and was satisfied with the results. This was until I used the DYSON V10 right afterwards and emptied the canister three more times with dirt, whatever, and dog hair. As a matter of fact, my only complaint is how small the canister is, but this helps keep it so lite and user friendly; anyway, it is super easy to empty so good trade off in my option. The Dyson is super sleek, lite weight, but has a heavy feel, and its innovated vortex vacuum design has the power of a jet engine (not nearly as loud though). We love this vacuum and believe you will too! My kids even use it (of course this part probably won’t last, lol)

Dyson doesn’t disappoint!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the convenience of this. The charging dock is perfect. I have thick carpets, and it’s great for quick spots that need to be vacuumed, but I couldn’t vacuum the whole thing with it as it just doesn’t have enough power like a traditional vacuum, and the tank would fill up every 30 seconds. For tile or hardwood, it’s just amazing, moves well and Has great suction to get everything!

A very good vacuum solution
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m new to the Dyson vacuum product line, so the only comparisons I can give are based on other vendors’ products. That said, I’m really impressed with this vacuum. It provides an incredibly strong suction and thus far has only requires one pass to clean an area. Our home has three different kinds of floors (i.e. wood, tile, and thin and thick carpet), and two cats – one of which leaves a trail of hair every time he enters a room. The V10 comes with a number of attachments for different cleaning requirements. For example, there are two floor cleaning heads, and I found myself testing the two to see which worked best on carpet. As expected, the larger of the two heads worked much, much better on our carpets than did the smaller one. In contrast, the smaller of the two worked best on wood and tile. I can’t be sure if it’ll be a problem or not, but I’m unsure about using the larger one on our wood floors out of concern that it will be too abrasive for wood. For cat hair on carpet, the larger of the two cleaning heads nailed the cat hair without breaking a sweat while the smaller one just moved the hair around. The V10 is very light weight. I used one of the brush attachments to clean the two air-conditioner return-vents located ten feet up at opposite sides of our house. I had no problem holding the unit straight upright during the full cleaning cycle – attesting to how light-weight it is. Upon receipt of the V10, it was necessary to give the battery a full charge which took over 3 hours to complete. Our older wand vacuum differs from the V10 in many ways, including how you turn the unit on and off. Essentially, you press a button once to turn it on; press it a second time to turn it off. The V10, in contrast, has a trigger switch that you must apply continual pressure to in order to keep the V10 vacuuming. I mention this because for individuals with hand or finger pain, applying continual pressure can be problematic. It surprised me, but the V10’s trigger is the easiest one to engage that I’ve ever used. In fact, you have to take care to not engage the trigger accidently. I kid you not! The V10 comes with six (6) attachments as well as the extension pole. All attachments can be used with the pole or attached directly to the main unit where the dirt canister and battery are located offering great flexibility. Emptying the dirt cannister was fairly straight forward. Unlike my old vacuum, with the V10 I didn’t have to stick my hand in the cannister along with the dirt to fully empty it out. The Dyson clearly has a winning design when it comes to emptying the dirt cannister. My older vacuum came with a charger and two removable batteries. So while one battery is being used, the second one can be charging. Nice! The Dyson, in contrast, has a fixed battery that cannot be removed. In the long run, it’s going to be interesting to see how often the battery gives out during a vacuuming cycle. And yet, using the V10 on its lowest power setting while vacuuming my house today, the battery only went down by 1/3. That’s pretty good power management. Using the unit at its highest power setting, however, depleted the battery very quickly. It would be nice if the V10’s extension pole had the capacity to bend or pivot to make it easier to get under couches and other pieces of furniture. Bending down to vacuum under furniture is a problem if you have back problems or other health issues. All things considered - the single fixed battery, the trigger switch, and the non-bendable extension pole – I thought the V10 did an exceptional job of cleaning our different floor types and associated cat hair. And the trigger switch, which I mentioned earlier, turned out to be an absolute non-issue. As an aside, it would have been nice if the unit came with a bag to store the attachments. All that said, I think this unit is quite exceptional!
