SADLY DISAPPOINTED WITH DYSON

Did a great job picking up pet hair in area rugs. But 17 months later, battery is lasting less than 10 minutes - can't even finish vacuuming an 8' X 10' area rug before its dead.

Not worth it

However, after heavy use on rugs with two golden retrievers, it has become unusable after two years. Very disappointed considering the cost we paid. We kept up with the basic maintenance and now have to clean the vacuum after every use just to get it to function. The full power mode will kill the battery in less than 2 minutes. I seem to have to clean my vacuum longer than I get to use it to clean the floors, which is extremely counterintuitive. If you are considering a Dyson cordless and need it for regular use with pets, look for a cheaper option or at minimum protect your purchase with a plan.
