Only a 1 year warranty on the battery itself, now $129 to replace it. Besides that little joy, I loved the vacuum - the different heads for carpet & hardwood are great, the suction is fantastic (when the battery holds a charge); I would still recommend, just keep in mind if you use it a lot, you'll probably have to replace the battery in about a year.

The battery was extremely difficult to replace and then it overheated. Did not even clean one room before it shot down. I was afraid it was going to cathc fire. I will NEVER buy a Dyson again.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On 12/17/2019, we bought a Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum-Copper. Prominently displayed on the box it came in, Dyson claims "Up to 60 minutes fade-free power." Not even close. Twice, using the fully charged Dyson on its highest power setting and on hardwood surfaces only, the battery unit abruptly stopped after four minutes. We timed it. FOUR minutes. Technically, I suppose, four minutes is "Up to 60 minutes......," but I think Dyson intended something closer to 60 minutes. We certainly expected more than four minutes of use on a full charge while using it on a hard surface only. Dyson makes aesthetically beautiful, albeit very expensive, products, but they are essentially useless if they don't function. Until they can find a better performing battery, one that comes remotely close to meeting their claims, I'll not buy another Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, I now wonder if Dyson is overstating the merits of their other products. Very disappointing.

With regard to your run time, please keep in mind that your machine will offer three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. Along with three different suction modes, you will also have a suction control slider at the cleaner head for use with cleaning across both hard floors and carpet. As a result, we would not expect you to require the MAX suction setting, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job.
In suction setting 2, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date. Junk Vacuum
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always heard how great Dyson vacuums are, so I finally decided to buy the Cyclone V10 on Black Friday. Once I received it and took everything out the box it appeared to work, so I set it up and put it on the charger to charge it up. Several days later I go to use it only to receive a red light and it doesn’t work. I assumed perhaps it was a faulty battery, so I return it to Best Buy and they give a me a new one and claim this happens. So I bring the new one home and charge it up and then my wife uses it once the next day and then after she’s finished all of a sudden the dreaded red light comes on again and the vacuum no longer will work. Safe to say this will be returned for a refund and I will steer clear of any Dyson product from here on out. This was my first Dyson purchase and it definitely will be my LAST!!

Not worth the money you pay for the Brand

I got hooked into the marketing show of how fantastic this vacuum was. I paid $599 for this Dyson so was expecting a superior vacuum experience. I’ve had nothing but problems from the beginning & have now brought another vacuum for a fraction of the price - NOT A DYSON!! Problems range from poor battery life to filter stopping the vacuum from working. Don’t get pulled into the marketing it’s really not worth the money!! There are far better vacuums on the market costing far less so save your money - the Dyson is really not worth the extra you pay!!

Battery power awful

The V10 machine provides up to 60 minutes of run time and also features 3 modes: suction mode 1, suction mode 2 and max mode. Out-the-box, the machine is set on max mode.
Max mode is meant to be a temporary boost of suction for particularly stubborn messes. Because it's meant to be a temporary boost, the max mode run time is up to 5 continuous minutes. Suction mode 1 and suction mode 2 are ideal for majority of cleaning tasks, so we always recommend using these modes to preserve your battery each charge.
