Very powerful vaccuum. It does make a little of a “ooomp” sound when you turn it off.

Vacuum is great in the aspect that is does a very good job at picking up everything however the re-chargable battery life is very limited and need to plug back in after a few minutes of use each time as the battery dies during a cleaning even after being fully charged daily.

this is a good sucking power vacuum and i would recommend this to my friends

This is a great product when it works. I have had to exchange twice. For some reason they just lock up and says clean filter and after doing so..........nothing. Thank goodness for warranty. Make sure to get Geek squad on this vacuum.

Best vacuum ever used, never thought it was that good

I’ve been using an older Bissell corded stick vacuum which I was looking to replace, let’s just say I can not believe the power & pick up this vacuum has! It was very easy to put together, just 3 pieces that snap together. I had just vacuumed my area rug the previous day & could not believe how much dirt the Dyson picked up from my rug, I guess it never was really clean before . Removing the canister to dump the dirt was a bit tricky but we figured it out. The vacuum is very lightweight but it’s a bit top heavy. The top is removable so you can use it as a car vac or for dust pickup. It comes with a crevice tool & brush attachment & also a bracket for wall mounting. It charges pretty quickly but I can’t comment on the battery life since I haven’t used it that long, battery life is suppose to be 60 min.The cleaner head swivels so it’s very easy to get around furniture & in corners. They say this will replace your full size corded vacuum & I believe it. I love this & recommend it, my Bissell is now retired.

Great vacuum. Battery last a lot longer than the V8.

First off...this vacuum is very powerful. There are 3 power settings (min, medium, and max). On the max setting it will actually pick up and move the 8*10 area rug we have in our living room. The other 2 settings seem to be quite powerful as well. We tend to use the medium setting for carpet and the lower setting for our hardwood floors but the max setting leaves nothing behind. The vacuum is sleek and light weight. It's easy to handle. It takes about 3 hours to full charge a dead battery and you get 45 minutes to an hour of run time on max setting. This is my second Dyson (DC28) and my first stick vac, so I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the power and ease of use. The trash bin is decent size and easy to empty as well. It comes with a wall mount that I have put up yet but it looks simple enough. There are 2 attachments for it as well. A crevice tool and a upholstery brush. Both do as they should...crevice tool on max setting is a beast.

Awesome product. I got it on sale so I feel like it was worth the money considering how old and cumbersome our old vacuum was. The only downside I can tell so far is that it doesn’t come with many attachments. I’m on the lookout for the 4 piece set.

I would have expected better for being $500. Wall mounting this is the only option you have, whereas other stick vacuums such as the LG have a base station. The LG also has an extra interchangeable battery, not just one built in battery. Speaking of the battery life, I had one of these for less than one year and the battery life continued to dwindle. It got as bad as staying powered on for 3 minutes or less. Luckily, I got the protection plan when I bought it and was able to swap it out for something else. Yes, the LG vacuum is priced higher than this one, but it is money well spent. I will say, the Dyson does work very well when it's running. I've never had an issue with it not working as advertised. My main issue is the battery and the apparent lack of value.

Never would I think to spend 400.00 on a vacuum. This dyson two in one vac and hand vac cordless I may add is spectacular. Light works great on low pike and hard surfaces. Not great for high pile, shag unfortunately. Awesome otherwise.

This vacuum is great. Great at pickup and deep cleaning once you put the setting on “MAX”. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars due to the limited battery on MAX setting. Maybe 30 minutes tops and that’s fresh out the box. Probably will decrease over time.

Can not vacuum my living room with one charging. Also, the thing states the filter needs changing and stops working after two or three uses. It takes 24 hours for the filter to dry so I can not vacuum every day when I'm waiting for the filter to dry. This was an expensive vacuum but its made out of plastic and it does what the manufactureer states because its doens't hold a charge very long. Although, I loved that it had very powerful suction on the high setting but the low setting was not strong enough to vacuum a floor without carpeting. I would not recommend this product.

This vacuum is amazing! I upgraded from the bissel bolt cordless. The first day I had the Dyson, I vacuumed every room and was amazed by all of the dirt it got out of my (what I though were) already clean floors! It’s worth the money.

Excellent handheld vacuum. Wish the battery was bigger so it will last longer on MAX mode. Other than that, the build quality is great just like any Dyson product I've ever owned

We were looking for a portable vac to put into our RV. We were demo'd quite a few, but this Dyson stood out as the best for our needs. Works great at getting sand out of the carpets and is really a compact size.

We’ve had several Dyson vacuums and this is the best so far. If you have lots of thick carpet you may still want a regular vacuum, but otherwise this does everything well, especially hard floors
