Please keep in mind that your machine will offer three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. As a result, we would not expect you to require the MAX suction setting, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job.
In suction setting 2, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date. Posted .Hello Jerry, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Dyson Cyclone V10 Motorhead, along with all other machines, will feature a max fill line on the clear dust bin of the machine. We do recommend emptying the clear dust bin by that line, to ensure optimum performance of your vacuum. We speak to our owners frequently and they tell us that cordless vacuums have changed the way they clean. We hear they clean more often, but in shorter bursts, spending less than 20 minutes per clean. The new Cyclone V10 vacuum offers our longest run time. It runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, or about 35 minutes when using a motorized floor tool.

Excellent Vacuum

It has up to 60 minutes worth of battery time which is plenty for me to clean around the house or even my car. Suction is great on this thing, far more powerful than any of my previous stick vacuums I have owned. It comes with a crevice tool and a brush head type tool. This is my new favorite vacuum to use all around the house.
