We speak to our owners frequently and they tell us that cordless vacuums have changed the way they clean. We hear they clean more often, but in shorter bursts, spending less than 20 minutes per clean. The new Cyclone V10 vacuum offers our longest run time. It runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, or about 35 minutes when using a motorized floor tool.

The battery is advertised at a 60min run time . It may be if set on the lowest speed which has no suction . The run time is maybe 10min on a full charge. My V7 had a longer run time than this model . In the future I will be looking at other (cheaper ) brands .

Please keep in mind that your machine will offer three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. As a result, we would not expect you to require the MAX suction setting, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job. In suction setting 2 Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date. |Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been hesitant to try a cordless vacuum since I bought a Shark Cordless about 6 years ago and it didn't hold a charge very long and didn't have great suction. This thing is fantastic. We have about 2500 sq ft on our 1st floor and I was able to vacuum all of it tonight with this thing on a single charge and it still had 1 bar of charge left. We have hardwood and rugs. It has extremely powerful suction so much so I had to decrease it to the minimal setting to go over the rugs without picking them up. I have a central vac and used it last week. The dust container was full when I finished and I really couldn't believe it since I had just vacuumed. This thing does a great job (better than my central vac) and the battery lasts also. It is not heavy and easy to use. I don't think I could get better suction with any vacuum out there. I have to say Dyson makes great products and stands behind them. I have a Dyson fan and 2 heaters. The heaters had a recall and Dyson made the recall very easy. All I had to do was take it to UPS, they packed it and shipped it back and Dyson sent me the repaired unit in a timely fashion. Dyson is expensive but they stand behind their product and that is important to me.
