    This thing is crap. Have no suction power at all when not at max setting. When using at max setting, it will last for about 5 minutes. Completely useless. It is sitting in my garage after 1 use since purchased. Complete forget to return this crappy product.

    Junk! Had to replace 2 of these cordless shark vacuums within less than 2 years. Thankfully we purchased the Best Buy warranty and was able to get full refunds both times. Now we have a cordless shark and it’s 100% better. Dyson is a waste of money

    Runs out of charge quick when you run it at max

    Wanted one of these for years, tired of lugging vacuum on stairways. I can only get 4 to 6 carpeted stairs on max power, going back to charge to finish stairs is not gonna work for me. Also emptying it is awful. Don’t have the box and hope I can still return it, sticking with a cord

      Hi Kate, this is Kelly with Dyson. We speak to our owners frequently and they tell us that cordless vacuums have changed the way they clean. We hear they clean more often, but in shorter bursts, spending less than 20 minutes per clean. The new Cyclone V10 vacuum offers our longest run time. It runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, or about 35 minutes when using a motorized floor tool. Your machine includes 2 power modes, low, medium and high. While in high or MAX power mode, you'll receive a boost of suction power, but significantly lower run time than in medium or low power. As a result, we would not expect you to require using the MAX suction setting for everyday cleaning, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job. Depending on which mode you're vacuuming in, and which flooring surface - carpeting or bare floors- you can expect run times varying from 5 minutes up to one hour.

    Complete suction failure. Cleaned filter often followed all maintenance instructions. Motor makes a pulsating noise and whines but zero suction. Next step hoping for refund. It was a cool tool while it lasted but $400+ novelty? I’ll pass.

    I used it 1 time. Battery will not charge. Called Dyson and they wanted me to take it to a service center far away. Horrible. Will try to take it up with Best Buy or just return it. Would have been good if the battery worked.

    Didn’t work just wouldn’t charge .

    On the first press of the button heard a muffled suction pop kinda sound and that’s it didn’t start tried to charge for 3 hrs+ battery wouldn’t charge kept blinking on the last level . Had to return it .

    After a month it stopped working and I have a wood floor and it cant pick up most of the hard little particles like pills or crumbs I contacted best buy because I bought it on their card they should replace it or refund me

    This Dyson is amazing. It is very light to handle and empty when its full. Also a lot of power and was able to vacuum my house without an issue and only had to empty the canister once which is super easy.

    Had it for over one month. Quit charging. Of course this is a critical appliance for any house. For years corded vacuums were reliable. Trying new technology bit me this time. Gonna return it.

    This cordless is so much better than my old, corded upright. It's handy, powerful, fairly light, fits in tight places, goes up and down the stairs easily, and appears to be well made. The attachments are easy to change and the system for ejecting the dirt from its chamber in one quick motion is pretty cool. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the high-pitched machine noise. The first time I used it, my husband and I both found it so uncomfortable that we got out our earplugs. If you have young children or perhaps an animal that reacts to noises, this may not work for you. To the Dyson Company in case you're reading this: Now that you've built a vacuum cleaner that's efficient, how about engineering it so it's quiet, too?

    Dyson does it again and does not disappoint with the latest version of their cordless stick vacuum. Easy to start using right out of the box. Picks up as much dirt as my full size vacuum. Love the light weight and ease of emptying. Worth every penny and all households should have one.

    This is second time owning this. Second time the vaccum has broke. Can’t get it to disengage and tired of returning it so went with the Hoover instead.

    Dyson comes back swinging with a Home Run!

    The Dyson V10 Stick Vacuum 1 exceeded every expectation I had for a stick/portable vacuum. I have the Dyson V8, so I didn't expect there to be much difference, but I was surprised. The V10 comes completely redesigned while still offering the best of the V-series features such as easy on/off attachments, portability, and ease of use. The V10 offers better cleaning power than its predecessors and main "marine" competitor/predator. I cleaned an area rug with the competitor and then went over it again with the V10 - the Dyson picked up everything its competition left behind and filled the collection bin while doing so. PROS - Lightweight - Easy to Setup and Use - 2 basic attachments meet the need for most uses - POWERFUL vacuum able to clean what the competition leaves behind - Dyson quality and Technology - Up to 60 minutes of use per charge is a major improvement over the V8 version at a compared 15-20 minute use CONS - Battery is not interchangeable and is a permanent part of the vacuum - The charging dock seems a little flimsy compared to that of the V8, concerned how long it will hold up Absolutely a must-have for small apartments, offices, or lightweight cleaning needs.

    Let me start by saying….AMAZING!! This Dyson V10 is extremely robust and durable. Its suctioning ability is amazingly beyond belief. I have a cat, that leaves hair all over my home which causes me to have to constantly vacuum daily. However, with this V10 it pulls up debris particles on the lowest selected volume yet produces robust results. I commend Dyson on manufacturing top-notched products that last for years to come

    My Dyson had gotten really sluggish and would surge when trying to vacuum. i took it into the Geek Squad one day and within a short time walked out with a credit toward a new vacuum which I bought that same day. Great Vacuum-love the Dyson brand. Really love having the Geek Squad to help me with any problems I might have.
