It's great when it works. But it's SO ridiculously hard to get open to empty it. Then it's so hard to get the stuff out, that little square opening keeps getting jammed up, and I have to stick my fingers in there and it's gross, and they don't really fit anyway. Very frustrating evey time. The previous one I had emptied much easier. You didn't have to take the stick thing off and it opened from the side, so the little square opening thing wasn't even an issue. It keeps stopping because the thing is full.

This vacuum is everything you will need and with all the necessary attachments. It has three levels of sucking power and does a better job than any other vacuum I have used. I rarely need to move chairs when vacuuming now and can get al those hard to reach places with ease. Very helpful for vacuuming the car and car seats! It also has a two year warranty but Dysons quality products always last for a long time.

Love my dyson, it is light weight and easy to use. This is my second Dyson and both work great. I was reserved about only 60 minutes of run time. But I can vacuum everything I need in 30 minutes or less. Only a few times have I actually ran the battery down, I recommend this to anyone. I would like to buy one for each of my adult kids but they are expensive when buying 5 of them. Only complaint is the price compared to other brands.

Have used this for 4 years. Works great, but you need to keep changing out and cleaning the filter. I bought 4 knock off ones so i can rotate through them. My guess is this will probably last about 6 years before suction dies out or something breaks. The connection between the head and long tube are already getting wobbly. Also helps to use high pressure air once in a while to blow the head unit clear of dust. You would be surprised how much gets past the filter. We have more laminate floor now and this is handy to keep it tidy.

This new Dyson v10 will literally suction to the ground ! it moves a ton of air on boost mode however the battery depletes rather fast when using boost mode. Collection bin cleanup and HEPA filter washing is a breeze. The wall mount charger is a great touch. If you have thicker carpet it might be a little too much suction and will be rather difficult to clean . We have a small section of shag and there’s no point even trying to clean it in boost mode the vacuum doesn’t want to move an inch even on the normal setting it makes it rather difficult . The low setting works but a caveat is it does not produce enough airflow to clean thick carpet so it’s a double edge sword . Outside of that if you have normal carpet or hard floors this will work awesome for you !

Good run time and the weight is pretty good for such high power! We use it for the stairs, hard to reach areas and around the baseboards. Works great for pet hair as well.

Amazing product used it a lot helped me a bunch with the amount of dust that is filtered into my home

I purchased one of the original dyson stick vaccums about 5 years ago. I loved that vacuum and it is still working great and keeping a charge, but I wanted something a little stronger with a new dog in the house. I purchased this vacuum a few days ago and it is absolutely amazing! It blows my old one completely out of the water. You can actually feel the strong suction! We have an older dyson ball vacuum too, and it doesn’t stand a chance against this thing! Is you’re looking for a stick vacuum, seriously, look no further!

I love this cordless vacuum cleaner despite some of the negative reviews. Most of the comments are true including short vacuum time even with a full charge and having to hold the power button down, but knowing this you can make the adjustment and it really shouldn't bother you after the first couple of times. I love the freedom of the cordless feature, being able to reach hard places with the sleek design, strong suction capability, and perfect tools. I hate cleaning and have even gotten a black eye from wrestling with my old bulky vacuum cleaner...but with this amazing machine, I look forward to cleaning almost every day! Worth the money!

When it was initially shipped to us it did not work at all. We had to return it to the store, which we had hopped to avoid by having it mailed to us, but I know these things happen. When we finally got the second one it worked great for about 3 months. Still works great as far as suction, but the battery doesn't last long at all. We don't normally even use it for whole house, so it doesn't get used all that often. Last week it only got through 1 small room and died when I started the second room. It's been charging for a week now and I only got through vacuuming 4 couch cushions before it died again. I can't even vacuum just the couch without it dying. Definitely not worth the money if I can't even get 1 project done. Very frustrating.

Highly disappointed. I have been waiting s long time to own a Dyson, after having a Eureka vacuum for years. When the time was right , I happily purchased the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal upright vacuum - $499. I returned that vacuum because it was SO heavy to maneuver. The pushing and pulling was with much effort, giving me a exhaustive unneeded workout for my arms. I returned it a week later, and bought the Dyson cylone V10 motorhead cord-free vacuum. OH, what a mess! This vacuum does not hold its charge...The first time I used it, it held its charge for 10 min...The second time, for 20 minutes! I HATE being at the mercy of the charge of this vacuum. I do not understand why there is not an electrical cord just in case you you do not have time to charge, or for situations such as this one. This was a $449 purchase! NOT a cheap one for sure. You do have to press the button to vacuum the whole time you are using it, which is not so much a big deal since you do not have to press on it so hard. Also, the second star is because it actually does a nice job vacuuming my wood floors and carpet....Just thoroughly disappointed and tired right now since I have to return this one too. Dyson has such a reputable name, yet, I am not impressed with the Dyson products so far...I think I learned my lesson that higher priced does not always equate to better value. I will be physically testing my next and hopefully last vacuum.

This is a very good vacuum for the purpose that I purchased it for. I vacuum our wood floors everyday due to having two golden retrievers. I would have given this vacuum five stars, but I’m not pleased that I have to hold the red button down continuously to make the vacuum run. There is no on-off switch. I think this is a huge flaw that Dyson could have easily taken care of.

I like the vacuum. In fact I have two. But just a warning, customer support is really bad. I ordered a filter and another replacement part directly from Dyson. I didn't end up needing the extra part and returned it using their return policy. I received an email on November 29 saying they received my return, but I still haven't received a refund. I was on hold for 45 minutes before I was even able to talk to a person. The conversation took over another hour just to process my refund. While being put on hold several more times.

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned hands down. Also the best Dyson vacuum I have ever owned and I have had 5 total. Perfect on hardwood floors and does the job well on carpets.

Need to be cleaned regulary, ir it might get stuck.

The model I have is Dyson cordless V6 Motorhead. It failed after less than 3 years by using it once a month to sweep my car. Dyson customer support offered me new charger $29.99 over an email (Larry), but new battery $94.99 over the chat (Mandi) trying to sell me the new model with 20% discount. If a friend asks me now about the vacuum, I would respond "expensive nice looking junk with useless customer service".
