Very good vacum cleaner. I use it for stained concrete floors with scored lines. It sucks up everything even stuff in the cracks. It is very nice, really long cord and great attachments. The only downside to this vacum is the price at triple the cost of others it should work this good. We have not bought a vacum in 8yrs. I hope this will last this long. It does have a very long warranty and other talk about good service in warranty from Dyson.

With two dogs its hard to keep the hair off everything and this sucker, sucked up all the deep down dirt and dog hair. I went over my carpets twice to be sure. Honestly my Boyfriend and I slept so much easier last night because our allergies were not killing us either. LOVE MY DYSON I will never go back I went through at least 8 vacuums in 3 years should have just bit the bullet and spent the money on this baby years ago. The price even at $299.00 was a steal for the $700.00 we have spent in the last three years

BEST VACUUM, I HAVE EVER USED, WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE PERFORMANCE. THIS IS MY SECOND DYSON VACUUM AND THE AIR MUSCLE TECHNOLOGY IS FANTASTIC.

Love the suction on this product. Boy was I surpised at the amount of dirt this picked up!

The Dyson DC28 excels at getting up pet hair, retaining suction and generally making the chore of vacuuming much less of a chore.

I love all the attachments that come with it! They are so easy to switch out and conveniently stored on the machine.

The best vacuum I have ever used the suction is unbelievable. This is my third Dyson an they keep getting better an better

I was not sure about spending the money, but after researching other vacuums and adding up what you spend over the life of one, decided to get the Dyson. I love it, picks up the fine dirt in the carpet that our other vacuum left behind. One downfall is that we can not get under some of the furniture without using the wand.

I bought this vacuum because I have 2 dogs. I had a eureka boss and after vacuuming the house with it I vacuumed the house again with his Adium and by the time I got done the canister was full. This vacuum does a great job. I was a little hesitant to buy it at first because it is a lot of money for a vacuum but now that I did i'm glad.

We've been through 5 vacuums in recent years and finally decided to spend the money on a vacuum worth the money. This thing picks up more and is better built than any vacuum we've every encountered. Spend the money. It's worth it. Picks up pet hair and cleans furniture better than you could ever imagine.

If you are buying the DC28 to pick up animal hair and dander, I DO NOT recommend this product. I've owned Dyson products before and was impressed with them. This one however has a serious flaw that Dyson is aware of and is not interested in fixing. The problem is the rotating brush. This model uses a Dyson digital high RPM motor that will NOT work on large area rugs. If you have wood floors with such rugs, know that the brush will stop working -- something that's actually been designed into the machine! You may have to stop the machine, rotate the brushes and restart the vacuum several times to do one large (say 5x8 or larger) rug. They are recommending that you go to a 'bare floor' setting to pull up the dirt. Of course if you're trying to pull out animal hair or dander, that makes this option a non-starter. If you are willing to just rely on the suction, take heart in the fact that this machine SUCKS. But if you want it to work in combination with a brush. Walk away from this model.

This vacuum is worth every penny!! At first I came home with the dc25 I was not really happy. It could have done a better job on my hardwood floors. After reading reviews on the dc28 I had to try it. This vacuum is a beast I love it. It picks up more dirt then the other one did. And the floor attachment is a dream come true. Don't waste your money on any other vacuum just get this one.

The Dyson DC28 is even better than I had hoped it would be! I vacuumed an area of our home with the vacuum I replaced (a name brand that is expensive) and then vacuumed the same area with the Dyson DC28. Could not believe what the Dyson removed from a carpet that was supposedly just vacuumed with a different brand!!!!!! Lifetime filter and no more changing bags. Absolutely love it!

This is now my third Dyson. We gave my daughter the first one and would like to trade back. yes, it's better than the ball models (no suction) but not by much. We've gone to all wood or vinyl floors. Works good on wood floors but you have to use the floor attachment on the vinyl or the vacuum will suck the vinyl up and form a seal. Doesn't do very good on the animal hair in the area rug. Even going over it several times on difference settings, I still see cat hair! The accessories are a joke. The brush and crevice tool are one piece that plugs easily. The stair tool is too small and doesn't work as well as the one from our original Dyson. As for the bagless feature, I find the best way to dump it is into the large trash can outside. Any dust that comes up is just blown away.

I wish I had bought this vaccuum cleaner years ago. I can't believe how powerful it is for picking up cat and dog hair. I also like the dirt collection chamber - it pops off easily and I can dump it directly into the garbage can.

Overall we love this vacuum cleaner. It does a great job with all the dirt and pet hair. We initially had problems getting the vacuum to work properly it essentially was stuck in attachment mode. We returned that one and the second has been great.

Good vacuum, too heavy and needs drive wheels in deep pile carpets
