The bin has to be emptied very often, every five minutes. The vacuum does not stay on, you have to hold the button throughout the vacuuming section. It does vacuum great though. I only bought it because it was cordless and we had the shark cordless before this and we loved it, but unfortunately it broke out on us. The price I paid for it was not worth it I am disappointed with Dyson as I have had other products and been very happy with them. You are better off buying the shark cordless.

Posted .DC44 Origin has a run time of 20 minutes or 8 minutes on Boost mode. Dyson DC44 has a run-time enhancing trigger so it is on when you need it, off when you don’t. Due to the wand the suction feels weaker with brush head. Does th ejob of picking up stuff which we were looking for light cordless vacuum. I actually liked the Shark wired that is very powerful and propels fwd automatically. I don't recommend due to price there are other out there..

Our maintenance department uses it daily to clean up after themselves when making repairs inside a resident unit, cleaning the hard to reach crevices, and it is also a champ as sucking up swarms of fruit flies! The wall mount cradle makes for easy, convenient storage. Can't say enough great things about this workhorse.
