    Defective battery or charger

    Average rating because for two months the LCD display is showing "Fully charge before using for the first time". I tried charging it but it never goes to 100% Other than that the product is ok

    Overall this vaccum is not worth 500! At best it is worth 150…. The suction is terrible (eco mode lasts 40 mins but does not pick up anything) and when using the highest mode it only lasts less than 5 mins causing the motor to overheat. I only use it for picking up loose hairs from a German Shepherd that gets brushed twice a week. So if you are someone who has a cleaning person come over and you want to feel like you contribute to your house cleaning; then this vaccum is for you….. you will not clean much but at least you’ll feel like you are

    Worst vacuum ever

    This vacuum is the worst. Each time i vacuumed it gives a error message that the airflow is block. After a minute it shuts down and I have to clean aclrar the air flow. Worst ever. I miss my LG no errors and long ladting battery life. Extremely disappointing with Dyson. Miss my LG.

    Vacuuming becomes an all day task

    This is our first Dyson and a huge let down. After mounting the charging bracket to the wall and allowing it to come to a complete charge, the unit lasts all of 5 minutes on the max setting and 13 minutes on medium. The eco setting is so weak, I couldnt imagine how anybody gets their house clean. For $500, you get a unit that turns vacuuming your home into a 4 hour project. My home is a smaller size at 1300 square feet.

    Complete waste of money, don’t buy.

    Zero stars if I could. After about 3 uses, got error message, cleaned it out, washed filter, let it dry 1 day. Next try, didn’t work on high speed, barely worked on medium. Now it pulses on medium, whatever I try to vacuum up doesn’t even make it to the canister, falls back onto floor when turned off. Low speed is completely worthless. Piece of junk, don’t buy.

    Run From This Purchase

    Have two cats and despite being brushed daily, they do generate a lot of hair. Initially seemed fine. Dust cup filled quickly. And before I could finish apartment area size rug, there would be a clean filter notification. And dustbin full. Even tried dumping when half way thru first rug. Getting dustbin to release is difficuit. When filter is dirty it has to be rinsed and then dried for 24 hours before next use. Thinking the simple solution was to buy a second filter, discovered Dyson has no filters to purchase separately. Really? How can Dyson put out a product without spare filters not yet being available? Then started gettin notification airway clogging. So opened every connection i could. Didn't solve problem. After an hour chatting, Dyson offered to replace. So emailed shipping label. Reimbursement was not an option. They gave 14 days before label expires. Am hopeful but not optimistic re replacement. If that doesn’t work, The Better Business Bureau onlinehas Dyson complaints and I will add to it. This is a Minus Five Star rating.

    Power was okay but we found this to be somewhat lackluster in performance compared to a shark. It is super slim and easy to maneuver in tight spaces.

    Older Dyson models are superior

    Worst Dyson product I’ve owned. Suction is only good on the high setting that gives you around 7 mins of battery. The readout tells you to use a lower setting the whole time. After four months of regular use it was telling us to wash the filter every time we used it. Vacuum extension is shorter than previous models, so be prepared to vacuum hunched over.

    could not get wand attached to handle dynamo, friend helped (retired submarine tech) now I can't get it off. "Beater bar?" does not work in reverse. I swear it did before. This not that old,

    Loose screws, can't use with the stick!

    DYSON brand with some loose screws over attachment mechanism and not typical kind of screws, so can't tighten it and because of that, can't attach the stick too. Disappointed as I was excited for it given as a gift! Suction not great as well compared to the v12 I'm considering. Price only makes the difference, otherwise might as well get a more reliable model.

    So disappointed! I don’t usually spend that much on a vacuum, but there was a good sale. Wish I had returned it straight away. Requires constant maintenance. Clogs up, air restricted. Does well (when working) on carpet, but doesn’t pick up well on hardwood or tile. I was so excited to have a Dyson & it is more trouble than it’s worth.
