My girlfriend has an expensive Rainbow system and I was expecting to use this several days a week to keep things clean between Rainbow uses. This Dyson performs better than the Rainbow and is much simpler to use. Great vacuum. If you have a lot of carpet to cover you may need to get a second battery to get the job done uninterrupted.

My wife loves it. I'm not allowed to touch it! Kidding aside, it works very well and has pretty good battery life.

Cleans well. Easy to maintain. Charge lasts long enough. Love the attachments. I've been kicking around the idea of getting a Dyson for a while and glad I did.

WATCH OUT GUYS, If you buy this Dyson for your wife, you may end up using it more than her. The hardwood floor attachment is so cool. The light illuminates the dust, making it easy to see what you are picking up (especially if you have pets), and the Gen5 is so powerful. It makes vacuuming an adventure. I vacuum now just to use this attachment. If you get one, just remember I warned you.

This is my favorite vacuum! I have 4 other Dyson vacuum’s, all different. While they all are great, this is my fav! The light that shows on the floor, shows every spec of dust. I have become obsessed with vacuuming because of it. The suction is so strong! I vacuumed with my old one first and then I vacuumed again with this one. It picked up everything the old one left behind! If you’re debating which to get, look no further. This is it!

Tired of vacuums breaking every year, we decided to buy a Dyson. Compared to the other vacuums we've owned this is certainly a nice vacuum. Our previous vacuum was a shark and we thought it would last a long time but it only lasted 2 years. The best thing we like about the Dyson is the suction power and we can see the dust on our hardwood floors also we use it on the bedrooms and it picked up old carpet Refresher from years of us using it on our carpet so we really love this vacuum

Just got the brand new Dyson Gen5detect and I am extremely satisfied with the overall performance of this vacuum so far. The new improved fluffy head provides much more visibility over the previous model (Dyson V15) which allows me to better visualize which areas to focus on cleaning. Furthermore, this vacuum also has a larger HEPA filter compared to the prior model and even claims to be able to vacuum particles at 0.1 microns which is virus territory. I would recommend this vacuum for those with allergies since the HEPA filtration system is among the best in class. Another major improvement over the previous generation is the switch from the trigger handle to an on/off button which improved overall ergonomics since there is no longer a need to constantly hold a trigger to maintain power while vacuuming. The only major downside I would say would be the price of this vacuum which places it in a premium category among cordless vacuums.

Super happy with this purchase - all of the attachments work perfect for every situation you can think of. The laser allows you the feeling of a great deep clean and I especially appreciate how the vacuum detects if it should amp up its power for a particular section.

Overall great! The head you use for carpet/rug catches a little. It doesn't run over the rug smoothly. The hand held is a little heavy. Overall it performs really well and we really like it.

I recently purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner, and my impressions are mostly positive. ☺️ Power and efficiency. The vacuum performs excellently on all types of surfaces, whether it’s carpets, tiles, or hardwood floors. The suction power is impressive, even at the lowest setting. Design and convenience. I have pets but was tired of weak and heavy cleaners that lasted barely a year. This thing has more power and cleans better with less noise then any of my previous pet vacuums and it’s easy to carry up and downstairs to get the whole house!

This is my 4th Dyson cordless vacum. They all have lasted a year or two as they were not built for the long run. This model seems to be a much heavier duty device. It's a little pricey but I feel it is the best built of all the Dyson cordless we have had so far. As far as performance, it is solid and reliable. The weight of the device hanging on the wall is significantly more than any of the previous models we have owned. Make sure you have some strong walll anchors to keep this mounted properly. I would recommend this model over the others as the convenience alone of being cordless is a feature worth having.

I purchased this vacuum to replace a broom. I used to hate sweeping up and always put it off. Now with this vacuum and the display showing how much stuff you picked up makes cleaning into a game. I Now vacuum my apartment at least once a day. The light that projects from the fluffy head really shows how much dirt is on the floor. I cannot recommend this vacuum enough. I never use boost mode, just leave it on auto and I have never had an issue.

I love my new Dyson vacuum! I love the when I use the attachment for hard floors which projects the green light and exposes all dust and particular that cannot be seen with the naked eye. I feel satisfied knowing that my floors are spotless after I’m done vacuuming! You can never go wrong with Dyson. This is my second Dyson purchase and my first Dyson is still going strong as well.

Very good vacuum. We love ours. It is easy to use and it is very powerful. I love how it automatically detects the amount of dirt and changes the suction strength on its own. The wall accessory tray could be a little larger as things get very crowded

Works amazing. I can vacuum a 2000 sf house on one charge and it bucks up everything on the first try. It’s so easy to change out the attachments and to empty. Great product!

Even better than the other Dyson I've owned. There was the option to get the one with more battery capacity, but for the space I have, more power was the ideal choice.

Previously had a lower end dyson and this doesnt even compare. The vacuum is 100x better and lgrabs everything whether carpet or hardwood. Would recommend to everyone! Battery life is also amazing!

Very nice, excellent performance Battery life is about 75 minutes The vacuum cleaner have unique ways of taking out dust and dirt. In fact, I so much like it.
