Had an older dyson model upgraded to the new outsized. Pickes up everything and larger size cuts down on time

We have a lot of animals and with the oversized we are vacuum the whole house

Bought this vacuum in may i dont think the guy was suppose to sell it to me so thats pretty rad

İt is broken so easyly..this is my 3 rd dyson vacuum but this one is really dissapointed..

If I could go back and not buy this vacuum strictly due to stains poor customer service I would. $1,124 dollars not including tax I spent on this vacuum when it was new and first came out just to not sit around with broken parts still under warranty and nothing is in stock with Dyson. If you sit around and wait long enough they’ll then offer you a new vacuum replacement but will take up to 3 weeks to get and you have to return and wait for them to receive the old one first. So unless you own another vacuum have fun with nasty house you can’t clean for over a month. Never dealt with this from bissell that’s a fraction of the cost any issues under warranty they ship whatever right out.

Dyson has always produced amazing products, you pay for what you get.

The hard floor attachment works well. The carpet attachment makes a lot of scraping type noises.

The first description that came to mind for me when using this vacuum is that it’s mind blowingly impressive…which is ironic because you know, it does the opposite (it sucks things up if that wasn’t clear). Ok, terrible joke, moving on. But seriously, Dyson continues to show why (in my opinion) they are one of the best out there for superb quality vacuum cleaners. I honestly can’t quite believe how effect the Outsize is. I have a German Shepard/Korean Jindo mix (yep, really), and she has a double coat, meaning she has two layers of fur…meaning she sheds a LOT. After giving her a bath, loose fur flies off of her for days and ends up all over my house. You can actually see layers of it in the carpet. The Dyson Outsize is a life saver in dealing with this. It gets it ALL, on hard floors, carpet, rugs, stairs, you name it. It’s almost effortless on my part because it just glides along but don’t let that fool you, the suction power is unmatched, particularly in any other cordless vacuums. I love cordless vacuums because I live in a house with stairs and lugging a corded vacuum up and down the stairs is an absolute nightmare. My absolute favorite feature on the Outsize is the Auto feature that can sense if you’re vacuuming on carpet or hard floors, or if you have a particularly dirty spot on the floor. The suction power adjust accordingly, and I don’t have to do anything put keep pushing it. The price is high on this vacuum but think about what you get with it. It has a ton of accessories, which is it just me or is that becoming a rarity these days with vacuums? It has a wall mount, and it comes with two batteries. That’s huge by itself since yes, cordless vacuums do sometimes run out of power at the worst times. This way I can finish my chores by just switching the batteries out and keep doing my thing. Dyson knocked it out of the park, nothing bad to say. And I’m not ashamed to say that I’m in love with my vacuum cleaner.

Waste of money. Not even close to worth the price. Constant airway obstructions. I could’ve paid 1/10th of the price and got 10 times the vacuum

Be easy with this vac. Connector at the bottom of cannister has broken. Wand plugs in but doesnt matter because of broken connector it sucks air now. Dyson please sale this broken part so i can fix this $1k mistake.

Had to return this item 2x. First one / defective part. Replaced this & the replacement had a missing part. Returned both items. Dyson needs to work on their quality control. Very disappointed.

After 2 months the wheels fell off and the screw holes were stripped so you couldnt screw them back on. Honestly, I have never seen a screw this small used on wheels. What a design flaw. If they fix this the product will be a 5 star product.

Invested in the Gen5Outsize less than a year ago. As others mention, wheels break off of the motorhead. Replacing that piece seems impossible. And worse, a new motorhead is not in stock on Dyson website and if it was in stock, is it worth buying it knowing the wheels likely will break again. Debating Dyson future purchases. It is a heck of a cordless vac when it works.

I liked the vacuum, but wish it had more maneuverability, a bigger hard floor optic head and a better way to empty the canister because it goes everywhere.

Battery life maybe between 10-15 min , boost mode shut of as soon as as i put it on rug and this is not long hair one hair is short . So disappointed returned it after first use . 800 bux for this ? No wonder they give you 2 batteries cause one battery per room worth of cleaning shame shame shame
