Ok. Dyson killed it with this one. This bad boy is powerful enough to clean out whole house and more. It comes with a second battery, but one seems to be enough. This device is reason why I have continued to buy Dysons over the years. 10 out of 10

The vacuum itself is great. BUT, the carpet cleaner head clearly has a defect that Dyson just doesn't seem to want to address. As you'll see from other reviews, the little plastic wheels on that piece will eventually break - rendering the vacuum useless. This could be a year, several months, weeks or even days. Either way, they will break...trust me, I've purchased three Dyson machines and ALL OF THEM have done this. You might wonder why I would keep purchasing a vacuum that keeps breaking. Because it works so darn well other than this one piece. Purchase the extended plan from BB...you'll need it. It's the only way I would recommend this product. To Dyson, after all the negative reviews and known issues with this piece, PLEASE fix this issue! It's been going on for years! See you soon BB for my replacement

After using many stick vacuums we decided it was time to give the Dyson a try and it has not disappointed yet. Plenty of power and attachments to use. The hardwood floor head with the laser is perfect for seeing hair, dust and even pollen accumulation.

I didn't know how much I needed this vacuum in my life until I had it in my life. Two words: sucking power! It’s smarter than I am, easy to maneuver & helps so much with my 4 dog, 1 cat & 2 children household.

I have held off on buying a Dyson cordless vacuum for a long time now. I’ve seen them all over social media and could never bring myself to spend this kind of money on a vacuum cleaner. After reading reviews of the Gen5 outsize and talking with friends who have owned Dysons for years (most of them have had the same Dyson cordless for 8+ years!), I decided to just go for it. This vacuum is worth every. Single. Penny. It’s incredible. The versatility and ease of use is amazing. The only con I have is the run time. It comes with 2 batteries and running the vacuum on auto setting uses both batteries quicker than the 140 minute run time advertised. This con doesn’t outweigh all the pros, so I would still invest this money in the vacuum all over again.

Absolutely amazing!!! This canister is huge!!! The only thing I miss is the trigger from my old Dyson. Aside from that this thing works like a champ.

This is a well done design and easy to use, maintain and handle. I used Samsung, Hitachi vacuum before, they were okay, but not really satisfied as the Dyson vacuum.

As the title to my review states this makes cleaning fun. Me a 30 year old having fun or at least enjoying my cleanup process now. I think the particle analyze is part of the enjoyment. Emptying the unit and replacing the filter is a breeze too. Using the vacuum actually leaves me with the impression that it was wel engineered. I choose this over the german engineered Miele C3 cat & dog. The Dyson has a lot more sucking power and actually lifts my carpet a pit as i run over it. The Miele C3 didn’t have as much suction. Dyson has no problem picking up my pet bird’s feathers and my long hair.

Amazing. Lightweight. Picks everything up. Even the finest particles. Battery life could’ve a little better but it comes with two.
