Once I got it home and used it for the first time, I discovered that it is extremely loud. I started to read reviews of this vacuum and apparently it's a pretty common complaint. To spend over $1,000 on a vacuum and have a beast so loud is absolutely unacceptable. I returned it the next day for a refund. Don't waste your money on this model.

And after a fall, it broke. I picked up this one becasue of tge size and ots the gen 5. I have own it less then a week, the wheel has popped of and is broken?!!!! This is going right back and i may not get another one as another customer had the same issue. I got it on sale for $800.00 but that is very expensive for under a week of useage!

Great vacuum, worth the investment!

I've only had it for a few weeks. While it's a decent size/weight for a handheld, it works like a charm on every surface I need it to. It also has just the right types of attachments we would ever need. Looking forward to more time with it!

I would have gave 5 stars, but Dyson changed the attachments and batteries from the previous versions. So this just leads to more waste as I can not use my previous acquired accessories and batteries.

The only problem I see with it is the battery life if you have a larger house. This one comes with a extra battery but still this in her opinion is the only drawback.

However, it is advertised that it can run up to 140 minutes without needing to charge it, but the dyson only lasts me around 70 minutes...
