They are the only filters you should get

The filters are great, and we use the filter 24/7 nonstop. The filters last considerably less than the advertised 1-year (about 8 months). I guess it's due to the nonstop use we have. The lower star ratings are only due to the higher price they carry on these. But I guess this is what you get for using premium brands.

Posted .Hi there, this is Jenifer with Dyson. We recommend replacing the HEPA+Carbon filter roughly every 12 months, depending on how often you use it. With 24/7 use, it is expected to last closer to 6 months. That’s because over time filters can become clogged with pollutants and even let unpleasant odors back into the room.

Though we do prefer the older model...this seems to do an adequate job. The old filter had two separate charcoal elements while this model has the charcoal infused into the inner layer. If I had a choice...I would take the older model over this one. As I said prior..this element works...but maybe just not quite as well.

Great fan, high cost

Luckily I was able to get a deal on the fan itself but I'm not looking forward to this fee 1-2 times per year.
