It’s a two in one type filter,, you don’t need the old carbon filter as this one has both!! Took me an hour wondering why the old two filters will not work with this filter,, haha!

Not the same lifespan

And, although the BB say they are original “Dyson”, the lifespan is shorter vs getting them directly from Dyson. I dont know why. But just a notable difference. Got the same price, I’ll go OEM (Dyson).

I was about to return it then figured out the issue. It's working for now, however I'm not sure about the quality compared to the previous 2 part filters.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this is OEM, good luck if you have any installation issues which you'll likely have as Dyson's directions are far from clear and leave our crucial instructions on how to reset the unit. When I called their customer service they totally refused to help me unless I purchased directly from Dyson which is utterly ridiculous as it's the same exact OEM part number. For those that still want to pursue purchasing from Best Buy, note two essential things. 1) this one piece filter (L+R) replaces the former two-piece filter (L+R) - its not clear anywhere on any website. 2) to reset the display icon, you have to use the remote only and press + hold for 5 seconds the moon button until it clears and then repeat using the left & right arrow button. Insane this is not clearly written ANYWHERE including their own included instruction sheet which is in its own odd language. I think I'm done with Dyson as a result.
