    Never got it delivered ,they canceled it as soon as I got home they said they canceled it and I have not yet received my money back. I paid cash.

    I’m so disappointed with this filter :/ I’ve bought it 3 months ago for my baby’s room, so it’s almost new. I have recently started noticing some weird smell, kind of sour and moldy at the same time. It took me some time to figure out that it was actually coming from our Dyson air purifier. I turned it off and the next morning the smell completely disappeared. I’ve been using Dyson for a few years now. I did have a problem with a machine before and got it replaced, but never had any issues with their filters. Unfortunately, I can’t exchange or return this filter any longer and I don’t want to spend $70+ on the new filter that could be causing the same issue. I don’t even know if it’s safe to use these filters, or they have added some chemicals that are causing that smell. As everyone else can see, there were other reviewers mentioning the same problem with these filters. I’m wondering when Dyson representatives are going to address this issue?

    This newly designed combination filter is NOTHING compared to the original. I am unsatisfied with this purchase. I ran my Dyson air purifier continuously for over a year since the initial purchase and then received the first notice to replace the original filter. Now here we are in December…9 months later and I just got an NEW alert to replace the filter AGAIN. This is quite annoying considering there has been ZERO change in my environment, usage habits, or any other factors on my part. The only change is Dyson discontinuing the original 2-part filter that came with my machine. This new combination filter is supposed to be “easier to change” according to Dyson because it contains the carbon and Hepa in one. but Is snapping the green carbon filter into place first then encasing it with the purple Hepa filter really more difficult? No way. The company wants to offer a subpar product at the same price point.

      Hello Abigail, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you've found the new filters to be a source of frustration and disappointment. The filters work the exact same as the older ones do. The new design purely environmental, making the same filter into less pieces. The filters have the same life performance, about 4400 hours. If you have poor indoor or outdoor air quality, or have the machine in use more often, you might have to replace them more frequently.     I would give 0 stars if possible! Buyer beware this does not fit all the models that the description says it does! This is my third attempt to find filters that fit this offer Dyson model. No luck on Amazon ( also claimed it would it), here, and Dyson also no longer sells.

    These filters are rather costly and don’t always reset the “change filter” indicator when you do so. They work well though.

    I received a used filter.

    I purchased two filters from Best Buy. One of them came used, but with a round tape seal that looked new. The filter inside was in an opened plastic bag. It was moldy and dark grey. Obviously, somebody put the old filter in the box, put a fresh round seal and returned it to Best Buy. Essentially getting a free filter. They then unknowingly sold it again. From now on, I buy my filters directly from Dyson and NEVER from Best Buy.

    Poor Quality Filter, doesn't last long & bad odors

    This new filter is horrible. I purchased it at the end of last year during winter, but did not use it much. In April of this year I started it up, but it had a weird moldy odor to it, just as others have described. It was barely used! No dust or anything in it. I have 90% life left according to the app, yet it is unusable now! I never had this problem with the previous filter. Unfortunately, it seems there is no other option BUT to use this filter. It is a waste of money in my opinion. Yet another gimmick Dyson is using to get more money from customers. I am now looking at other purifiers so I don't have to use this garbage. Seems there are a lot of other quality, better options on the market, and for cheaper.
