    These filters are rather costly and don’t always reset the “change filter” indicator when you do so. They work well though.

    Poor Quality Filter, doesn't last long & bad odors

    This new filter is horrible. I purchased it at the end of last year during winter, but did not use it much. In April of this year I started it up, but it had a weird moldy odor to it, just as others have described. It was barely used! No dust or anything in it. I have 90% life left according to the app, yet it is unusable now! I never had this problem with the previous filter. Unfortunately, it seems there is no other option BUT to use this filter. It is a waste of money in my opinion. Yet another gimmick Dyson is using to get more money from customers. I am now looking at other purifiers so I don't have to use this garbage. Seems there are a lot of other quality, better options on the market, and for cheaper.

    I received a used filter.

    I purchased two filters from Best Buy. One of them came used, but with a round tape seal that looked new. The filter inside was in an opened plastic bag. It was moldy and dark grey. Obviously, somebody put the old filter in the box, put a fresh round seal and returned it to Best Buy. Essentially getting a free filter. They then unknowingly sold it again. From now on, I buy my filters directly from Dyson and NEVER from Best Buy.

    Barely lasted 3 months

    I rarely write bad reviews but this was absolutely disappointing. I don't think this new Combi version works as well as the old version. I installed it in January and not even 3 months later, it needed replacing. Even though their customer support says it is supposed to last up to a year, if you ran it everyday for 12 hours. We only run it about 8-10 hours a day, and it did not even last 3 months. Now I have to buy another one, and these aren't cheap!!! Dyson needs to make a better performing product at this price.

    I would give 0 stars if possible! Buyer beware this does not fit all the models that the description says it does! This is my third attempt to find filters that fit this offer Dyson model. No luck on Amazon ( also claimed it would it), here, and Dyson also no longer sells.

    Come and get my money back for it

    Never got it delivered ,they canceled it as soon as I got home they said they canceled it and I have not yet received my money back. I paid cash.

    Every time i buy these and change them, the humidifier turns red like it hasn't been changed at all, I've bought 4 of these and the same problem everytime.

    A downgrade compared to old filters

    The carbon filter is now a cheap thin layer instead of the better carbon pellet style. It still “works” but the carbon layer now has less holding capacity and will be used up faster. Disappointed to see Dyson cheap out for premium filters.

      Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The filter replacement hasn't been downgraded. We re-engineered the previous 2 part filter, to an easier to use and replace 1 part filter. The new filter has two pieces; one for the front and back of the unit. The life of the filter has not changed. You will still get about 4400 hours of use out of the filter.

      Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. It's very unusual to hear of the issue you're reporting here. If you made a purchase of your filter directly from Dyson, it will include a 1-year guarantee. If the filter was purchased elsewhere, you would need to check with that retailer.

    This does not fit my HP04 device. It is visibly smaller than the filters that came with the device originally. I could not get it to snap in. Neither Best Buy or Dyson would replace the product even though it is labelled on the website and on the box as compatible with HP04. Total fraud.

    Cheaply made and does not fit properly!

    I've owned the DP04 for less than 2 years and I have to say this new filter has me ready to abandon Dyson products all together. Over 500 dollars and now I can't find a filter that properly fits. Picked this up today and it should have been a simple install like the previous filter but NOPE. One side fits in good the other side not only doesn't fit in properly -and isn't recognized by the machine - but now I cannot get it out of the outer plastic! An air purifier SHOULD NOT be this much of a hassle and certainly not for the initial 500 dollar cost and nearly 200 dollar a year cost to run it!

    Don’t buy it … it isn’t compatible

    If I could give zero stars I would. This filter does NOT fit/ nor is compatible with my TP04 despite Dyson claiming the new filter works like the previous model. It disappoints me that Dyson has done this to us loyal consumers. If you go on the Dyson website the don’t even have the previous working filters either. Just horrible.
