I feel like the genuine filter lasts a lot longer. I’ve also noticed that it’s easier to breathe, and overall, I feel happier knowing the air around me is cleaner. The peace of mind alone makes the extra cost worth it. Highly recommend sticking with Dyson’s genuine filters!

They last for about 1 year, as advertised, and your machine will let you know when it's time to replace them. Installation is very simple.
