I thought wrong. So I will be returning but replacing with another model. I’ve had one of their purifiers for years and am very pleased.

Not worth the price

This is my first Dyson product purchase and I expected more. The fan is pretty loud, especially at higher settings. If you dont have it positioned just right and you have the swivel mode on, iy makes an annoying pop as it hits the swivel stop. The heater is ok. Again, just ok. Dont expect it to actually warm up a room. It's only efficient if you're sitting right by it. All in all, I would recommend saving your money and buying a cheaper fan.

It’s really powerful and heats up the livingroom and kitchen area pretty quick. Would love another one. Maybe if they go on sale. ;)

Except for the fact I orderd this in store to be shipped to my house. This was a christmas present for my mom who lives with me. I asked the cashier if it would be shipped in a brown box and not how amazon has been doing and shipping it in "manufacturs packaging " and whatddaya know!!!!! It came with a clear wrap! Easlily showing whats inside! She still loves it tho

Dont buy. After few months smoke pouring out

Put it in my closet in my spare bedroom. Took it out the other day, cleaned it and plugged it in. Smoke started pouring out and what i found online is this is the accumulation of dust and stuff accumulating on the heating elements. For a company in the air purification industry im pretty sure that stuff burning isnt good to breathe in. Good thing i didnt plug it in and go to sleep. Pretty sure it would have caught fire and i maintian all of my items and have a clean home. Have never had an issue with the regular fan with a filter unless its time to replace it. But dyson wants me to bring this for repair as a solution which doesnt work For me, i feel like the lack of filter causes a buildup of dust inside until it burns, like a dryer with no lint trap. I asked for a replacement with a filter or a refund because i dont want to risk burning down my home and was told repair is my best option.

You put 68 and temperature in room is always 6 to 7 degrees off. I have reset unit tested it with multiple thermostats in room and just doesn’t heat to that temperature. Over priced space heater .
