Sent me a used product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Liked the design researched it in CR, reviews etc, Best Buy failed me. They said it was new and when the box arrived it looked rewrapped. No intrucyions inside the box i printed them out. The heat wasnt working properly. I called Dyson got awonderful customer service person. She agreed it wasnt working properly and offered to have it repaired. When she put the serial number in she gave me a date from 2023 it was purchased. I told her it was purchased 10 days ago. Best Buy showed it as new. They sent me a used and defective returned product! They didnt even fix it! I told her i wanted a new machine. So now i can pack it up and they will pick it up or return it to the store. A new product wont be in the store for 8 days. I will return it to the store nd get a full refund and purchase a new one. If i have problems with the new one will return it and buy another brand. I really like the design so hope i can purchase a NEW ONE!! That works. Best Buy your ethics at the store this was sent from lacks integrity to send a used as new product is unacceptable. My trust in you has gone down hill. Buyer Beware!

Help with heating one's house

It heats very efficiently and I love being able to use the remote control from across the room to control it. Instead of having to heat the whole house, I use it to make the room I'm in comfortable. Highly recommend.

Unable to Turn on Heat through the App

I bought this as a backup heat source in my full time RV where I live extended stay for work. I wanted it so when I go home for 2 weeks, I can see the heat levels in the camper and adjust if needed to prevent frozen pipes. Plenty of heat for my 42 foot toy hauler, great airflow, quiet performance. However, simulating a power outage and then back on again, I could not get it to return to "heat" mode through the app. Kept getting the message, "server unresponsive", It would change fan speeds, oscilate and turn off but heat would not come back on unless I did it with the remote or manually. No need to pay the extra bucks for functionality that was INOP. Shame really because it was fine except for that.

It is quiet, heats nicely, but I really doubt it has any purifying qualities. For the price, this is not a good buy.

Bad Customer Service
