Don’t expect it to cool off a hot room. Does not. I hoped it would from reading some reviews because of the price was really wishing but no, it doesn’t. Does however clear out smells. Very good at that, just took off two stars bc for that price, costs more than an AC. But I do like that it clears out a room smell, especially level where kitchen is,

Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

No app control

Instead of moving forward with every other companies that provide the ability to app controlled as a standard feature, Dyson is rolling back that feature and wants you to spend an extra $200 to purchase the higher price model for this “additional feature”. As if Dyson products aren’t already overpriced to begin with. I bought two fans and two vacuums over the years but this blatant greed is appalling. As much as I love their products, I have to say no thanks for now.
