Does a great job... Heating/fan and cleaning the air

It doesn't break down, it's quite and it clears it up

For a product that cost several hundred dollars, I expected better quality. The Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool Air Purifier, Heater and Fan works and does a great job of cooling, heating, and filtration, but the oscillating feature is defective. I've read several reviews complaining about this issue. After only a little over a month of use, the unit makes an annoying clicking sound during rotation and sometimes rattles. The thing sits stationary on a perfectly flat surface, but even if it wasn't perfectly flat, for such an expensive product costing several hundred dollars I'd expect much better quality. I don't know if it's a poor design are just using cheap internal parts (probably the case). I'll never buy another Dyson product again. It's ridiculous that I need to go through the warranty process so soon. At least it has a two-year warranty. I can only imagine how this thing is going to perform by then. Frustrating that companies these days have such poor quality control.

This air purifier also works as a fan and a heater so it's great for both winter and summer. It's quiet and the design is sleek, the remote is tiny and has a magnet that rests on top of the fan. Every detail is well thought out, this item is pretty and functional!

First: You must buy the warranty with Bestbuy. This will cover you if you need to trade, repair, or upgrade to a newer version within two years. The warranty acts more like a convenience warranty to the manufacturer's 2 year warranty ( it will take Dyson 4-6 weeks to resolve any issue you have with this unit). Bestbuy will resolve the issue the same day only if you buy the warranty. The FAN: it works (it's not an A/C so it will not act as an A/C). The heater is amazing for small/medium rooms again it’s not central air/heat people). The best thing about this unit is the air purifier. Noticeable clean air. I recommend putting this unit in a bedroom for the first few days to test just how breathable the clean air becomes. Again do not buy this unit without getting the convenience warranty with Best buy ( read the reviews from people with issues on this unit). You have 14 days from the date of purchase to buy the extended warranty. The only other thing I will say about this unit. It’s not as quite as the newer version ph04. This unit also looks cheaper compared to the newer version. The newer version doesn’t go on sale but has benefits which makes it a better over all buy. If you have the money get the newer version (I’m all about the sales so yeah). It is great at what it does but the newer version is newer for a reason. I put this unit in my bedroom but plan on buying the newer version for my living room. My star rating is For the performance of this unit, not customer service ( I hate when people take stars off because of customer service which has nothing to do with how the product performed).

I wanted to replace my space heater that’s also a fan but saw this was a heater, fan, and humidifier. I purchased a Dyson vacuum that doesn’t disappoint. This little machine doesn’t either. I love the remote and all the settings. Probably going to buy a Dyson hair dryer next.

Best purchase that I've ever made. I turn on the heat in my house in the morning and turn on the Dyson at the same time. When my thermostat hits 70, I turn off my heat and the Dyson keeps my house warm all day. Saving so much $ on heating.

Disappointed - had high hopes this would be worth the extra $$$. Definitely not. Noisy/jumpy mechanism for the oscillation feature. Remote is so small it’s hard to keep from dropping. Ok heater and filter but not worth the asking price IMHO.

Awesome quiet unit we are using to reduce Covid19 and allergens. We use it in our bedroom where we can stay warm all night while setting the rest of the house to a lower temperature. We plan on using it to host meals with friends in our garage - will heat and clear the air. A very nice item to improve our living space.

It works great I use it to warm up my sons room to the perfect temperature and it’s provides the best heat. I am thinking about purchasing one for each room. It’s great for kids and pets. The cat walks through it and it does not get hot to the touch

This was practical. My wife and I, we're getting older. Sometimes she gets hot flashes. Sometimes she's freezing 10 minutes later. This takes care of both. It's quiet, but not silent, which is great because she likes some noise. It's a well balanced product that does the jobs it claims to do. It is a bit too expensive for what it is.

This fan is straight from Sci Fi! It works so well both as a fan and as a heater. It is sleek and quiet and the remote doesn’t get lost as it is magnetically attached to the top of the fan.

So, I haven't tried the heater yet, so this is based on the purifier and the fan. I like how quiet it is, and the different settings. You can have it oscillate, or direct it in one direction. I've been using this constantly to filter the smoke in the air from wildfires in the area, and I noticed a difference after about a day. My only complaint is a strange smell from the filter. I thought it would dissipate after using it for a day or two but it is still there. I'm not sure what it is, but it is definitely coming from the filter itself.

Great heater gets my bathroom warm quickly. Fits nicely in the corner.

We bought this unit for our family room. We really like it because it is small, quiet (compared to others we have used) and looks nice. We have used it as both a fan and a heater with the mixed weather we have been having and it runs great. The added benefit is the purifier which we really need due to seasonal allergies.

We bought this unit for my son. It is a great unit that not only works as a heater and a fan, but it also purifies which really helps seasonal allergies. The blue color goes great with his color scheme. We also bought the silver one for us! From our experience, Dyson products are of great quality and designed to last!

Compared to my stand up fan, the Dyson is so quiet. It also takes up less space and the remote is perfect. I bought on sale and because it is a heater/fan. Have not used the heater. Fan is perfect for me, it doesn’t blast the air at me.

I love my dyson fan. Keep it running constantly and you can really smell the difference. The quality in air is 100% better and it is noticeable. The heat works great and it keeps me warm all night or as long as you want it to with the timer. Remote work well as long as you are aiming at the unit

This device works amazingly to heat a large room or cool down with fan plus the added benefit of being an air purifier. It is quieter than any other fan or blowing heater I’ve tried. I love the options available to change temperature, oscillate, and focus or spread out the air current with the remote.

I purchased this hp01 Dyson fan from new egg refurbished for $170. It came in perfect condition and includes a 6-month warranty. After using the fan for a few days now I begin to wonder why it has such a huge price tag. Don't get me wrong, this fan does look very nice, fairly quiet output, and seems to filter a good amount of dust from the air in the room. I just can't see justifying a $499 fan. I would highly recommend looking into a refurbished model (all certified refurbished like the ones on Newegg are repaired at Dyson and tested). It is cool though
