I was really looking forward to getting this but it totally disappointed me.

It is great as a fan but the heating element does very little for a room. I ended up purchasing a fireplace heater which gave me the heat I needed to warm the room.

Posted .Hi Sassy, this is Kelly with Dyson. I'm sorry to learn that you've been disappointed with your Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool. In terms of purification, your Dyson can purify the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the room. In a room of 139 square feet, the purifier heater will purify the room in 27 minutes. In a smaller room, it will take less time to purify the air; in a bigger room, it will take longer to purify the air. With regard to heat, as long as your machine's target temperature is set above the room temperature, it will blow heated air in to your space. It's unusual to hear that you found it didn't so much for the space you were heating.
