    The rotation of the fan breaks easily. Don't even want rotate after a little bump on it.

      Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn that you've been disappointed with your HP01 Pure Hot + Cool. Dyson Pure Hot + Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.

      Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

    Waste of money. Don't buy it.

    It feels like cheap plastic and looks easily breakable but cost way too much. It has a strong odor when you turn it on and the air pressure is not that great. I passed my 14 days so I couldn't return it. I would not recommend this to anyone. I ended up buying another purifier for way less and works 10x better.

It can be normal to experience an odor upon first use, when brand-new. The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool air purifier will feature adjustable airflow settings ranging from 1-10, and an oscillation range of 180 degrees, which helps project purified air around the whole room. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered a lack of airflow from your machine. The Dyson HP01 is designed to provide a steady stream of bladeless air on the fan mode and in heat mode efficiently, all the while cleaning your air and providing better air.

      We also designed the HP01 to be energy efficient, taking less than 0.5 watts in standby mode, up to 44 watts in fan mode and up to 1575 watts in heat mode. However, the true efficiency depends on your household electrics.

    Overpriced and not good

    The remote stopped working after 3 days of use. I changed the battery and it still would not work. For something that cost 500 dollars it should not have issues that early on. Look into other brands where you are not paying for a name.

    Worked for 1/2 a day then broke

    This item is bulky and a pain to bring back and forth to the store! It worked for 1/2 a day then wouldn’t turn on! Super annoying that I had to pack it back up and bring it back to the store. I was turned off and didn’t want to bother with another

    I purchased this item on May 31st, and by the end of October, it had completely stopped working. Of course, this is after the return date, so I'm stuck with a $400 paperweight. Look elsewhere for a fan/heater.

    This is the third one I bought. I love it. I use it for air purifier. I use it for cooling in the summer and for heating in the winter. So I have one in the family room near the kitchen. One in my master bedroom and one in my daughter’s bedroom.

    It may be great as an air filter, but that I can’t judge. As a fan it’s is way overpriced. I returned it the next day and purchased a small Vornado fan that blows air 10 times harder.

    Bought this and the next day took it back was not hot and not cold i tried both hoping this will be a good solutions for the guest room. I tried it and just dident feel powerfull

The Pure Hot + Cool purifier heater can purify the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the room. In a room of 139.931, the purifier heater will purify the room in 27 minutes. In a smaller room, it will take less time to purify the air; in a bigger room, it will take longer to purify the air. This unit also removes a range of contaminants from the air. It purifies to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns from the home. It also removes pollen, pet dander and odors such as cigarette smoke and cooking smells.     Returned this item. After about 24 hours of use it began to put off the most unusual odor. Discovered on other online reviews that other people had experienced the same problem.

    For $400 this thing is useless. Almost zero airflow, and does not serve any purpose other than possibly an air purifier. Any basic heater or fan will do better than this.

    The unit shuts off after 9 hours use. It would have been nice to have known this. It is my primary bedroom heat. Waking up freezing sucks.

    Perfect for me, Heats cools and cleans the air quietly and efficiently. The options on the remote let you set the speed and a timer for 15 minutes or 9 hours. I love it.

    Waste of money unless it kills any possible germ in the air. You cannot feel the fan portion or heat feature even on high

It would be unusual to have a lack of airflow and heat coming from your machine. You do have airflow speeds ranging from 1-10, oscillation, and the ability to adjust the temperature all the way up to 99 degrees Fahrenheit.
