    Clean air...BUT!

    So far I’ve been enjoying it. There is only ONE thing I cannot stand when oscillating cool I have the power level on 1 it makes a weird sound like an alien sound. This even happens in heat setting. I cannot stand hearing that sound when going to bed.

    I purchased the Dyson HP01 about a year ago, and after the heater is on for a while an awful odor is emitted. Can you give me a reason for this.

    Ocillation Clicking

    I bought two of these after already being a happy owner of the higher end Link model. This model obviously has some manufacturing issues. Both units had broken bits of black plastic from the inner airflow skirt; you can tell there was some rough removal from whatever mold is used and the plastic is very ridged like a ridged potato chip. Other than this, one unit performed as expected. The other made a noticeable clicking sound as it went through its occilation path. No change in surface or fan tilt changed this behavior. I exchanged this unit at the store, the employee said 'oh' as-if he sees this return quite often. So now this 3rd one, same plastic bits within fan well. Even worse, this fan makes an even louder single pop at the end of its rotation path. Well, that's enough for me. These are both going back and I'll have to just get two of the more expensive models which have a much better design. A win for Dyson, but beware of this model. I dont trust that the silent one will remain like that after it has aged a bit. I expect much better out of the box for $500

    Horrible! Don't buy!

    Do not buy this!! I assume most of these reviews are because they just bought it. Sure, starts off great. I have had mine just over a year and I have had parts replaced already. Spent weeks proving what was wrong by email with Dyson. A month later, and the humidifying is broken again. Now I have to get to a Dyson service center over an hour away to get it fixed again. I wish I would've purchased a purifier and humidifier without the Dyson name on it as spending $500 doesn't get you a reliable product.

The HP01 Pure Hot + Cool is only a fan, that provides heat and also purifies the air. It sounds like you may have our PH01 or PH02 unit; those are our purifying fan and humidifier combo machines.     Fail to turn on

    This product just didn’t turn on. I tried all of the sockets around my house but it just didn’t turn on. And it’s brand new. I tried to call Dyson twice. Wait 30 minutes each time. Couldn’t get through. This is my first Dyson product and I was so excited to test it out. But I got so disappointed.
