It warmed up the spaces needed in the apartment. I feel safe using this product.

This is not a new model so the price is attractive. The design is classical and functions well.

I love this air purifier. It does everything I need it to do. This winter my building was under construction and there were some times when the heat was out. With this unit, even in my largest room ~550 sq ft, I couldn't tell the heat was out. I often had to turn the temp and fan down because it would get really hot. It also does great at filtering smells from the kitchen or nail polish or cleaning supplies. Happy to have purchased this when it was on sale!

Love this, well worth it year round. Nice cool fan in summer and great heater in winter. Love it!

* Works well as a (personal) space heater, fan. * Warning: Dyson charges $70 for replacement air purifier filter, and suggests replacing each year (see below). * Most important feature for me: air purifier (see below). * Suggest: cover the fan with a bag when not in use, to reduce accumulation of dust (see below). Dyson's "bladeless" fan design is poor because it's very hard to clean the interior -- it's not designed to be cleaned by a consumer. They can be opened (you'll need a T9 screwdriver to remove the screw), but my previous one was jammed shut and required a clamp. This is bad because, although you can try vacuuming it (or using compressed air) from the outside, that'll still leave any dust that has been pulled into the interior. After a few years, those will burn in, causing a progressively bad smell to be generated when the heater is used. This new design comes with a filter behind the intake holes (the "air purifier"), which should minimize this problem and, fingers crossed, eliminate the need to try to open it up for interior cleaning. Because I am using the filter to prevent dust from reaching the interior, rather than "purifying" my air, I will like not replace it annually (for $70 each). I also cover the fan with a plastic bag when not in use, to reduce exposure to dust.

We have had one of these for years. And it just keeps going. It really heats and cools pretty large areas. Our heat went out as it was getting cold outside. We were fine and didn’t realize the heat wasnt working through the day. But as the sun went down, so did the reading on our digital thermostat…. Even though it was set to 70. I couldbt get anyone out that night. The earliest someone could get here was 9am. We set and reset breakers but nothing worked. It got doen to 63 in our house that night. At first, we sat in the kiving room with just our 1 dyson and kept it on heat. Its a big area, but we felt pretty cozy. When we went to bed, i brought the dyson, and my cats into my bedroom and shut the door. We stayed warm all night! By the time the repair man got here, the heat was working again…maybe the last reset i did worked? But since my house is about 2800 sqft, i decided to get online and buy another one just like it (updated model) asap! Now i have 2 and im pretty confident that if my heat poops out again, these dysons will do just fine for us, especially fir the short term! Waaaaaay better than those old kerosene heaters my parents had when i was a child. Lol

Purchased in a time of panic due to the Covid pandemic. I have it running where we tend to congregate which is the kitchen. It’s quiet in my opinión. There has been a couple of times I feel cold and I turn on the heat on the unit. It’s a great feature to have just in case it’s occasionally needed. It has given me some peace if mind to have it around. Worried about the cost of replacing the filter but we will deal with it once we come to that point.

I use this everynight and its like a little mini ac unit plus it improves the air quality 2 in one bonus

The hp 01 deserves 1 star. Wasn’t functional right out of the box. Took it back to bbuy and they told me that i probably switched it with a non working unit. SMH, I said ok so how does the serial number match the box? They asked me to leave the store. So I contacted the manufacturer. They said good news: it’s under warranty! I said: Ok great can you send me a replacement overnight please? They said bad news: it’s backordered. I said: really? Because its letting me order one right now on your website? They said: our warranty replacement inventory is separate from our sales inventory. As If that makes any sense? I said: ok how long do I have to wait? They said 6-8 weeks. I said ok. Long story short it was 6 months before they sent me a replacement and it took 2 months to arrive because it kept getting lost or sent to the wrong address. So unprofessional. And this is dyson we’re talking about. The supposed “Mercedes” of fans. It’s all bologna. Once I received the replacement I sold it on fb. Took a 300 dollar loss but good riddance. I ended up buying a cheap heater and fan and they were just fine. Spending 500+ dollars is unnecessary. Dyson lost a customer, not like they care.

so far so good as heater and purifier. takes a lot of impurities from air - proof is in my furnace filter. also, its relatively soundless.

I like this thing so much I bought another one for a different room. This is great little heater fan HEPA filter combination. It is a little bit louder than the bigger Dyson fans, especially at the highest fan level. It is winter time, and the heating function works extremely well. The airflow can be controlled to be focused, diffused. I find that in the diffuse mode, the airflow spreads around so well that I don't even need the fan to oscillate.

I bought this fan because my old one died. This is really an advancement i love how quite it is compared to my old fan and i love the cool+heat combo the only thing i will knock this product for is that it is somewhat short so if you want it to be on upper body level you will have to sit it on a chair or stool but otherwise i like it.

Great product. Very easy to use. Controller is pretty straightforward and simple. No need to have an app.

Life saver for someone who has allergies. My husband sneezes were stopped when I put this in the bedroom.

This works great and is versatile for heating and cooling and purifying. It is expensive but works well
