Exactly what I was looking for for my 18-month-old room. The room gets colder at night with only one AC vent. Dyson is very silent, safe (no heating coils etc.) and purifies air in the process. It also has many "fan" settings to control how fast you want the heating up process. The only drawback is the lack of remote access (there is a pricier version with app control) and no indicator for when to change the purifier filter. In summary, excellent buy.

It's pretty quiet and takes very little time to do the trick. I've tried it in a larger area as well, it takes a bit longer, but it also seems to heat large spaces pretty good as well. The fan is just a fan, not really "cool" air, just a fan. If you are looking for something more than that, you should probably look into getting a portable evap cooler.

Horrible!

The heater had been working great but today it started making a high pitch squealing sound and clicking when it locked in place. Now I’m stuck with a $500 product that didn’t even last a month. Do yourself a favor and pick something else.
