Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The heater is pretty efficient when it was used this past winter...however, couple of days it hit 80, I tried cooling room, it was disappointing...I get a little breeze if close it to, but I over estimated it's cooling abilities, because it's a Dyson product...$10 fan does better job in cooling.

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool. The Pure Hot + Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

Not as good as the standard cool fan

After getting used to having the Link version of the fan unit, the manual unit was a letdown.

Nice but not without issues

The oscillation feature doesn’t work, it gets stuck every time it turns left or right. Called Dyson, of course have to jump through hoops to get technical support. No one enjoys this process, especially with a brand new electronic.
