You can drop the temperature to 32 degrees, but the air does not get that low. Great product, but this is not an air conditioner replacement.

Dyson Pure Hot + Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. Yes it was on sale. I expected it to supplement my ac much more than it did. Although it was in a different room.

It sounds like you were impressed with the concept and design of the 3-in-1 unit that heats, cools and purifies your room air. If you're running either a central AC or window AC unit, we would expect you to feel cooler air, than with the use of this machine on its own. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

It Oscillates and gives a cool hi-tech look to your place. I put it in my bedroom. Kinda noisy at night. Other that that, i'm glad I bought it.

I had originally bought it for our camper to use when we went out. I used it one summer evening in my bedroom and LOVED IT! I use it ALL the time now!!
