I can only compare this model to one of those cheap handheld vacuums you can buy on Amazon, but this vacuum blows them out of the water. I use this vacuum to clean our cars/trucks and it works better than the vacs they have at the car wash places. The powered upholstery attachment works great on our couches/chairs. Super lightweight and easy to use. The way you dump the bin when full is super easy and works great. The max setting has a lot of suction power but it only lasts for about 5-6 mins continuously. I have only used it on normal mode and if there is a lot of stuff I need to vacuum I will use the max setting in a quick burst and it works great. It is around 5 times the money you would spend on a smaller cheap one but it’s well worth the money.

Have had several Dyson vacs. This is the first min-vac I have experienced. Its powerful and comes with a couple of attachments. Solid run time and i think is worth the price. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the location of the power button. I thought it should have been on the trigger finger...Great for pet hair

Dyson always makes a high quality product, as is the case here, but it is hard to see the Humdinger as more than a glorified Dust-Buster. With mediocre battery life and suction, itll work for small jobs like cleaning between couch cushions or dusting but will struggle with anything much larger than that.

More power than any handheld we have used in our 40+ years of buying “convenience” time after time!! THIS one may be the last!!!

I have multiple Dysons, and I love all of them! This one was no exception. It’s very compact size is perfect for spot cleaning, upholstery cleanup, and on-the-go vacuuming since it is so lightweight. Something important to note is that this will absolutely NOT replace a traditional full sized stick vacuum - if that’s what you’re looking for, then you’ll be extremely disappointed. The machine itself is probably about half the size of a traditional stick vacuum. The Humdinger is more of a support piece of equipment meant for those in-between or spot cleaning jobs, or for tiny living. It vacuums up pet fur well, comes with three attachments, and has a powerful motor and suction. The only downsides are that it is relatively loud (sounds like a very VERY small jet engine), pricepoint is a little high for the limited scope of the product (buy it on sale!), and that it doesn’t come with a dock. I usually end up laying it on the floor while charging with the attachments scattered next to it on the floor lol

The vacuum was very easy to use. I didn’t have to read instructions. The mini vacuum has strong suction. The battery life isn’t very long, when it’s fully charged it can only lasted up to an hour.

I like the power and sucrtion of this small cordleess vacuum as well as its ability to get int small spaces

I got this handheld rechargeable vacuum cleaner when it was a good deal from best buy. so i give it a try to see how good it is than my black and decker. let me tell you that rechargeable battery in side this unit is by far the best. it holds the charge more than long enough to clean up my entire room. my other black and decker dies within 5 minutes. but this ine keep on going and its really quiet. im surprised . im really satisfied with Dyson unit vacuum cleaner. soo happy with this buy.

I regret this purchase. I would not buy this again. It works ok, but not great. I would return it but can’t anymore. The price is too high for a mediocre product.

Fun to use, although battery life to very long. Its still worth it. I keep it handy near by home office to keep things tify.

I am writing a review almost over one year of owning this vacuum, and it is still working great. One of the attachments broke, and I called Dyson and they immeadiatly sent a replacement item. To my surprise this item is no longer for sale. My surprise is that it works very well, I have no idea why it was discontinued. I would buy another if I could find one.

Purchased based upon my experience with our Dyson Animal Ball vacuum. This little think sucks of the dust and dog hair well too. Battery life is ok, but you can't go crazy with it and do a whole house. Very convenient being cordless, and not to heavy. It is expensive, but gets the job done.
