Worked for only 1 year. Getting filter not sealed error without doing anything and nothing fixes this. Wasted $1000 on this.

Great vacuum. We like it better than our corded one.

The best thing that I bought this year for myself.

I actually like vacuuming but vacuuming with a corded vacuum can be incredibly frustrating. Inevitably the cord gets hung up on a piece of furniture or it’s simply not long enough. I love my other Dyson products which are high quality and innovative products so getting a Dyson Outsize+ cordless vacuum was really exciting. Upon unboxing you discover the interior is very jigsaw puzzle like with all the vacuum pieces and attachments nested in various size cardboard boxes. Included is the vacuum, the extension tube, two power adapters, two batteries, a wall mount docking station. For attachments you get the crevice tool, mini soft dusting brush, stubborn dirt brush, the combination tool, and the hair screw tool. There is also a wand clip which allows you to snap an attachment to the wand. You also get two very special cleaning heads the Digital Motorbar XL cleaner head and the Laser slim fluffy cleaner head. All components were very high quality. I love the selection of attachments but I do think that one essential vacuuming tool should be included but is sadly missing. That is an extension hose. You can however purchase one from Dyson. The Outsize+ name is is appropriate since the bin is 150% larger on this model and the Digital Motorbar XL is 25% wider. Both are very effective for better vacuum coverage and longer vacuuming sessions before needing to empty the bin. i was eager to try the Outsize+ but I wanted to fully charge both included batteries first. I have a combination of hardwood floors, area rugs, and carpeting in my home so the two vacuum heads would definitely come in handy. The laser slim fluffy head is for solid surface floors and as the name implies it includes a laser light that illuminates dust and dirt particles on the floor as you vacuum. I used this head first when trying the Outsize+ for the first time. The laser is incredibly effective in highlighting the debris on your floor so you don’t miss them. The vacuum has great suction but combined with the fluffy head and the laser light, dirt doesn’t stand a chance. As I moved to vacuuming some area rugs I switched heads to the Motorbar XL which has more of a rubbery fin and brush design. While using this head you can really hear it working as it agitates your rugs or carpeting loosening dirt from deep within the pile as the vacuum sucks it up. This head utilizes Dyson de-tangling technology so hair doesn’t wrap around the head. There are three power modes while vacuuming. The first is auto mode which is best balance of suction power and run time. On this mode the Outsize+ automatically adjusts suction power depending on floor type while using the Motorbar. You can hear it in action as the machine increases suction when needed. The second mode is Eco mode which maximizes runtime for longer vacuuming sessions. The third mode is Boost mode which when activated ramps up suction for ground in dirt. Overall I really love using the Dyson Outsize+. I really like the versatility of the various heads for different floor types combined with the three power modes. I could hear and see the evidence of thorough cleaning. In terms of suction you’ll be amazed at the power. Dyson says you’ll get 2 hours of runtime with the two batteries. That’s amazing! I have a 2,000 square foot home and do extensive vacuuming on one battery without running out of power. It’s great knowing the backup battery is there in the event that the first dies before your work is done. Plus don’t forget the best part, it’s cordless. The freedom from the frustration of dealing with a cord is a game changer. The attachment tools are perfect for those specialized vacuuming needs where you need a brush or to get into tight areas with the crevice tool. The hair screw tool is fantastic for cleaning up pet hair. As for emptying the bin it’s a breeze with one simple press of a lever the bottom opens and the debris simply drops out of the bin. You should note that the Outsize+ doesn’t stand on its own so storing it is a concern. Dyson however includes a wall mounted docking and charging station which hold the vacuum when not in use. I’m not a huge fan of committing to drilling holes in my wall just to hold a vacuum. I do wish Dyson included a stand to hold the vacuum when not in use. They do however sell one. This is another great Dyson product. Highly recommended.

I purchased a new item and received an open box from Southfield Michigan store. It is so frustrating when your purchase totals $1200 to find your brand new item was in someone's hands and your box was inspected prior to sending to you. Customer service wanted me to send them the unit to have it replaced the time I was so busy to even return or replace it. The unit works great. Highspeed lasts less than 15 minutes for each battery but is so powerful. Poor customer service. Great unit!

There are three main things I was most interested in with this vacuum. The laser system, battery life, and the hair pickup attachment. Everyone knows Dyson provides vacuums with the top tier in vacuum technology. With each new release there’s something new and exciting. Sometimes, its something as simple as battery life and capacity. This vacuum provides a little bit of everything as far as innovation goes. The laser system is an interesting feature. I was excited to use it, but ended up not making much real life use out of it. However, it does do what it claims. I can see particles on my tile more clearly. The thing is I already planned to vacuum over that area anyways so regardless of the laser I was going to vacuum that area. The thing I can see this feature being really useful for is if you shatter glass on your floor. No matter how well you vacuum your ground, somehow you always miss a couple pieces. I drop something glass on my floor seemingly once a year and it drives me nuts trying to vacuum every piece of glass. It will be cool to see if this laser feature helps me out in finding more glass when I inevitably drop my next mason jar. The two worst things about cordless vacuums has always been suction force and battery life. Dyson has always been able to supply strong suction for a premium price. Besides great build quality and modern looks, its kind of what they’ve been known for. For this specific model, I have experienced excellent suction force combined with strong battery life. I can clean my entire house and still have over 40% battery life left. That’s honestly amazing when you consider the strength of this vacuum. The hair pickup attachment works. So far I have tried it with my dog’s hair, and even brought it over to my friend’s house who cuts hair as a side job. She gave me a haircut and I vacuumed it all up. By the way, that was interesting explaining to her why I brought my own vacuum to suck up my own hair… Anyways, it worked really well and had had no hair in the bristles. Id imagine over time it might accumulate some hair, but its without a doubt substantially better than a regular vacuum head. I strongly recommend this vacuum. If you want a premium product that actually provides unique features, powerful suction, increased capacity, and friendly usability, then take a good look at this model from Dyson. It has a good charging system, looks great, and makes cleaning that little bit more bearable.

This vacuum is my first cordless one and my first Dyson product! I have to say so far I am beyond thrilled with it so far! I have a regular Bissel vacuum that I was absolutely in love with and would have bought 3 of them just to have readily available if it ever broke. But recently I've been tired of lugging it between floors and always bending weird ways to find the outlets to plug it in so I started looking into other options so I could have a vacuum on each floor. In comes this purchase... My first shocking surprise is that my husband actually likes to vacuum now, haha. I think it's because he doesn't have to plug anything in, or stumble around with our other one, so that alone is a true win in my book! Aside from that, I love that it's larger so it can hold more debris and I don't have to empty out the container half way through cleaning. I have 3 cats so you can just imagine the pet hair I suck up. Emptying the container is also a breeze! The whole product is so lightweight and easy to carry around. It glides across my hardwood floors and rugs pretty smoothly. It comes with a lot of attachments, which is super nice. I haven't used all of them yet, but there seems to be one for every scenario. The biggest selling point for me is the extra battery it comes with and the batter life overall. I've been able to vacuum my entire house on one charge. Of course the life span depends on the settings you have, but I'd say as long as you're not cleaning on maximum power the entire time, you should be able to finish without needing to charge. It does give you an estimated time remaining before needing charged, depending on power and modes which helps kind of plan out things if needed. All in all, I never thought I would pay this much money for a vacuum, but i'm really glad I decided to take the plunge. I'm now a Dyson user for life!

It truly sucks. Better than our recent model corded Shark even, which was surprising. Yeah yeah the hype i would say is real and the 2 batteries ensure it is always ready to go. Not sure it is worth the full 750 dollars but may be close with the extra attachments. Overall i think this is the best vacuum out there right now

The Dyson Outsize+ includes almost everything that you could want with a cordless vacuum. The Outsize+ is now the third Dyson cordless I have owned (previously the 7 & 10). The jump from the 7 to the 10 was a pretty dramatic change and the change from the 10 to the Outsize+ was almost as dramatic. The 10 did a good job on carpet floors, but the Outsize+ is now comparable to a regular plugin vacuum. The laser fluffy head cleaner is one of the coolest features on the vacuum. It shines a laser light in front of the vacuum, which makes it easy to see dust and dirt that you might normally miss. However, since my house is a mixture of hard floor and carpet, I will probably use the standard MotorBar head most of the time. The MotorBar says that it is designed in a way to prevent hair tangling. I haven't had the vacuum long enough to test if that is true, but I am hopeful. Aside from the two large heads, the vacuum comes with a bunch of specialty heads that work for various purposes. I found that the Hair Screw Head works well for cleaning car carpet mats. I wish they provided examples of the best use case to use on some of the other heads, because I am not entirely sure when to use one vs the other. The vacuum comes with a mount that you can attach to the wall, and you can directly attach two of these smaller heads to the mount. The rest need to be stored in a separate location (I do wish they provided a mount that had a space for all the included heads). The vacuum also comes with not one, but two batteries. These batteries are not just standard batteries but long-life batteries. They advertise that one battery can last up to 60 mins on a full charge. Unfortunately, while these batteries allow the vacuum to have a great run time, they also make the vacuum very heavy. I think some people will have a hard time trying to use the vacuum to clean things above the floor. I wish instead of two long life batteries, there was a shorter but much lighter battery included with the unit. Overall, the Outsize+ is a great vacuum. The long-life batteries are great if you have a large home. However, the extra weight of the Outsize+ may be a turn off for some people. I would have preferred to sacrifice some runtime for a lighter weight. I also wish Dyson would offer a hold function so you don’t have to keep your finger on the trigger to keep it active.

It sucks batteries die fast. I will not purchase this ever again.

Love the dyson vacuum. It's no ba easy to use and clean up, the best thing is, there's no bags and comes with two rechargeable battery packs for house cleaning marathon. No hair stuck in the brushes, all the tools are easy to change...truly amazing product

The versatility..the power…the styling…everything about the Dyson Outsize+ is PERFECT! Huge fan of the “Auto” mode…and all the different attachments. 10000/10. Worth every penny!

I wanted this Dyson so bad! Super disappointed I just had my hardwood floors refinished and the Dyson makes thin scratch marks on the floor!

So far its a really nice vacuum, my only gripe is the pricing, i think over 1K got a vacuum is just extreme, it has the cool laser and it seems to work really well but i would say this is more of the range of about $500-650, not $1100+... that being said, it works well, i had to buy a stand for it, it comes with a wall mount but i wanted the stand, found it on amazon. No complaints as of yet.

We’re all busy & need something that will do the job quick & easy & this does hard flooring & carpet. Any mess big or small, you’ll be satisfied. Even my 7 yr old can use it, as it’s light weight & fun. Oh, and the burly in technology is so convenient, it’ll never die in the middle of doing its job.

Works great. Saves time over smaller versions. Battery last longer than you expect.

Great suction and super convenient to use. It gives me an arm workout but I'm happy to have the larger capacity.

Best portable vacuum ever Everyday use So many option

There was an obvious difference from my previous dyson (dyson v10), to this one. To sum it all up its larger canister, multiple batteries, smarter vacuum and more attachments. Hesitant about the price but well worth it!!
