Light and easy to use makes vacuuming the stairs a breeze. Does well on thick pile carpeting and hard floors. Pet hair is no issue, good vacuum.

Limited inventory, no sales help. Dyson had defective battery when I tried it at home. Rather than taking it back to store, I am still resolving this with dyson directly. I realize that the first two issues are due to COVID, which is why I give you four stars.

This is by far the best vacuum I’ve ever owned! It goes on my high pile area rug that’s a shag rug and also goes on my tile floors beautifully

Broke after one week. Trigger has a design flaw where its weak and will break. Can order after market trigger that addresses this issue but shouldnt need to for such an expensive item.

Nice and quiet and like the interchangeable batteries. My old one you couldn’t exchange battery and now the battery is dead.

Great vacuum. Larger tank than my last dyson and love the display that shows life remaining in min/secs instead of just a bar.

This Dyson Outsize is the bigger and upgraded version of the regular Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. It is huge compared to its siblings because of the full-size bin and the full-size cleaner head. This is perfect for large homes. The vacuum comes with two battery packs, a soft brush, combination tool, a crevice tool, dirt brush, a hair tool, and the docking station to wall mount and charge the unit. The vacuum cleaner was quick and easy to setup and use. First things first, make sure to charge the battery fully before you use. It takes around 4-5 hours to fully charge the battery. You can charge both batteries at the same time, using the additional charger that came with the unit. The LCD screen comes in handy to check on the battery charging status. It also displays the current mode of use and the remaining run time. I also liked the fact that it will display when it is time to change the filter or clear any blockage, which I am yet to encounter. The Dyson motor is quite powerful and provides a very good suction power for all the cleaning need. You can use the vacuum in three modes: Eco, Auto, and Boost. Eco mode provides you with the longest runtime of 60 minutes and the suction in this mode is still powerful for my cleaning. Boost mode provides up to 5 minutes of runtime, for a very high intense cleaning. I barely used the Boost mode and don't think you would need it often. The Auto mode is the best of both worlds. It provides up to 40 minutes of usage and intelligently senses the floor type and adjusts the power automatically. Dyson terms it as Dynamic Load Sensor technology. The new Dyson hair tool is supposedly designed to be anti-tangle for removing pet hair from tight spaces and other areas. I am yet to fully test this as I do not have any pets. The advanced filtration on this vacuum expels air that is exceptionally clean. Cleaning the vacuum is as easy as using it. Once you remove the attached tool, the bin ejection system empties out the bin directly into garbage easily without any mess. Overall, I recommend this if you are looking for a single vacuum cleaner for all your cleaning needs of a large house with different floor types.

This vaccuum picks up every tiny dirt on carpet, rug, my wood and tile floors. I was so excited for this and it didn't disappoint. I had vaccuum the carpet with my other cordless vaccuum 2 days before I received this and I was literally shocked that it picked up so much small particles because it looked clean to me. Just for that alone, it was worth it. So I vacuumed the rest of the house and I just felt cleaner. This is so powerful and even picked up dust on my couches and recliner. Who would have thought there was so much dust and dirt lying since when it looked so clean? I love that it comes with an extra battery so I don't have to worry about waiting for a charge to continue cleaning. I feel like I can clean faster because it's larger and I haven't needed to empty the bin yet because it's a good size. But I just emptied it just to test that out. One of things my kids loved is that you can go right from carpet to wood and the vacuum adjusted on its own. So there was no need to move or switch anything. I'm hoping no more complaints from them about vacuuming. The best part, is that it has a small screen right on top that actually shows how much battery time is left so no surprises and. There are 3 levels of cleaning, a regulat level I use most of time for floor cleaning, economy which we used for cleaning the drapes and there's a boost level for deep ground in dirt which is even more powerful. It's great too because even though there was so much dust and tiny dirt, it stayed inside the dirt bin. Normally, I'd be sneezing or coughing but not this time. Nothing got out of bin. The best part is it's so quick, easy, and clean to empty out the dirt bin. It goes perfectly into the trash without being all over the floor or getting dust flying around. I also love that it comes with so many attachments so I can use it for everything around the house, the corners, behind the desk and bureaus, to clean my car. This is the answer to having a clean home. I would recommend one to every household. I could never go back to a regular vaccuum or even my other cordless vaccuum. I am spoiled for sure with this.
