Dyson said they have discontinued making this model. They no longer carry it in their stores as of last month. They offered to replace the part but that is on back order. There are multiple issues so even if it was replaced it may break again. The newest model at 100.00 more is better and reliable but is on back order. Dyson gives a 2 year warranty and will give you the new one for a 100.00. Decided to just return to BestBuy. While it worked it was amazing.

The only problem I had was in the beginning. My original unit stopped working completely within the first week. I contacted Dyson who, after troubleshooting made the call thebi needed a new unit. Dyson set up a pack and ship at a local UPS store as I did not have the box any more. Pretty seamless warranty exchange and the new unit has been working perfectly!

But after running for over 12 hours the humidity level of the room has not risen one bit. We had it set to 60% humidity and it would not go above 42%. Our room is not any more than 200 ft.² we will be returning.

The Pure Humidify+Cool is ideal for larger spaces, and it purifies, humidifies and cools the air around you. The filtration helps to automatically sense and capture allergens, pollutants and gases.
We're sorry to hear that in your use, you've found that your humidity target was not being met. The machine can reach 70% humidity, but getting to this target depends on environmental conditions like the size and ventilation of the room, and the relative humidity of the surrounding air. Even when the machine is working properly, it can naturally be harder to reach a target humidity if the air is relatively dry to begin with, if it’s an “open” environment where non-humidified air is flowing in, etc.

Unfortunately, just only one day we used coz the humidifier is not working even the water on it is not even reduced or used. And according to Dyson they didn’t even know yet why because this a new product. However we are so thankful to BestBuy coz they accepted our return and refunded our money.
