    Not working Out the box.

    I just purchased my Dyson Humidify Yesterday. Unpack and set was very easy. I installed the app and turn my unit on and it started to make a growling noise then the unit turn off and had a Error on the display. After spending $800.00 on this unit. I would have expect this unit to work for a very long time not 10 minutes. I returning it today.

    Expensive lesson learned

    Purchased to combat allergens and humidify. It did not work well as humidifier. Even when cranked to the top setting, it only managed to change humidity level 2-5%. I also purchased the geek squad protection. Buyer beware, the return policy for a refund and not store credit is 15 days regardless unless you are a program member.

The machine can reach 70% humidity, but getting to this target depends on environmental conditions like the size and ventilation of the room, and the relative humidity of the surrounding air.  Even when the machine is working properly, it can naturally be harder to reach a target humidity if the air is relatively dry to begin with, if it’s an “open” environment where non-humidified air is flowing in, etc.

    Never worked, water pump was broke.

    I buy LOTS of dyson products and have never had a problem with any of them until I got this thing! The water pump didn’t work from day one. I tried everything customer service suggested and nothing worked. I ended up returning it. I still like dyson products but will never buy a humidifier product from them again.

    I like the idea of a all in one cooling/air purifying machine. This was a breeze to setup and get working. I like to know that the air in my house is greatly reduced from allergens and is generally cooler. Pro's: It was easy to setup Looks nice in the house Is Quiet Has a nice remote and APP that can control the Air purifying/humidity Cons: I was disappointed that you cannot set the desired temp in auto mode The Humidity is only to increase it not decrease it. (I live in Florida) so not a feature that is helpful You have to choose Air quality or humidity not both. In summary I like the machine but feel that they would have served my needs by adding a dehumidifying option along with a desired temp so that fan will turn on automatically.

    Very Disappointed-Twice We only used our first one three days before the oscillating stopped working. We exchanged for a replacement and the second also stopped working after three days. We returned for a full refund. Disappointing as Dyson makes great products.

    If you looking for a humidifier, do not buy, unless product...can even produce a mist. Contacted customer support - no help...so the fancy tower is on its way back to BestBuy. Huge disappointment.

    Great Relief from Allergies

    After a weeks use I can say this machine cleans the air of allergens. It's spring time now so the air is full. It is nice to sleep through the night without sneezing. Packaging was amazingly engineered to securely protect the unit during shipping. Set up was fairly easy, the directions were minimum but I still was able to understand and run the machine effectively! I didn't mix in the cleanser/descale for the first run, figured it didn't need a cleaning cycle because it is brand new. The menu feature is easy to follow on the machine. You can set the machine for temperature-and humidity. You have a button for air-flow control and direction. This machine does and has everything. So quiet for the bedroom! The machine is tall/large but does a great impact on my breath-ability in my bedroom. The remote could definitely use back-lighting. A bit on the expensive side. Overall a Great machine, mine is white.You will not be disappointed in the operation and working of this machine.

    Doesn’t humidify even small spaces - over promises and underproduced. Don’t waste your money if you are purchasing for the humidifier function.

    I have to admit I’m usually skeptical of anything that claims to purify the air. These products have existed for ages now and yet still aren’t common in homes so there is a believability gap to be overcame. Consider that accomplished. The Dyson unit is very much an all in one device. Cooling,humidification, and filtration all in one. Once you have it step up - which admittedly feels a bit like you are building a rocket - it goes to work when you want it to, or when it detects that it needs to. At any time you can open the Dyson Link app and see how the air quality inside compares to outside, and it will basically give you a report card of any work it’s been doing. In auto mode it runs only when necessary; you can take the controls as needed from the included remote or from the app. What have I noticed in the few days I’ve been using it? Less sneezing would be the first thing. I am always suffering during seasonal allergy flare ups and i feel already like this unit has helped me breathe better. I also find that with it going and my ceiling fan running, the A/C was kicking on less during our warner days. Ultimately i would recommend this device to anyone who is looking for the simplicity of a single intelligent unit to replace all of these functions in their home.

    Okay, so since this whole Covid-19 stuff, I have been unable to receive my allergy injections, so my allergies have been super bad this time of year. We plugged this thing in and within a matter of hours, I can tell the difference. It's very easy to set up. The app is great as well at least on IOS devices, it was very simple to set up. The app is also very insightful about what is happening as far as air quality and the diagnostics of the machine. Overall I have absolutely no complaints on the machine and it's worth every penny.
