It’s a nice tool with a lot of different options but it is a bit hard to learn how to use it and I do believe that it’s not for everyone’s hair types.

I originally got this as a gift, and was so exhorted to use it. When I got it, it was definitely an innovative hair styler. For my hair specifically, the only pieces that worked was the straightening brush. The barrels would curl amazing but after I would brush it out it would turn into a pooft hot mess. I have curly wavy hair that doesn’t start at the roots the curls. I ended up returning the item

I wanted to like this so badly but I truly do NOT get the hype, my Tymo automated curling wand does the same thing for much less. The Dyson air wrap attachments feel so cheap and they are not as good for thick hair—this tool also requires too much time to get ready. So if you have more than 45 minutes to do your hair in total then it’s for you. I have a job and cannot do that.

The app is is clunky to customize and set up; accessories are flimsy; this specific product did not work, filter error immediately. Cumbersome to get to the Dyson chat and go through product tests for any help. Eventually, they agreed that the brand new product was not working and will replace. You lose that time period for the warranty - it was about a month for UPS to ship to them and get a replacement back. Carefully consider before accepting a return.

Took way too long to dry my shoulder length hair. The attachments all feel really cheap and the ends get too hot to touch after using them for more than a few minutes.
