I only used it 3 times and I am now waiting in line to return it. The filter light went on and stopped working. The filter was completely clean. No filer brush provided. I have the Dyson app and even though I am following the steps, I cannot pair it. Frustrated.Their hotline was useless. Overseas and never called back.

I haven't opened the package, but the box is severely damaged. Opening a package is usually quite an experience, but with this box, all of that is lost.

With this new connectivity through the MyDyson app, I can set up my hair profile so the tool can identify just what it needs for styling. Not only that, but it will also tell me when I need to clean my filter, which, so far, it hasn’t. This intelligent styling system proves to be a total game changer, even if you already have the previous version of the device. Instead of having to manually select a heat setting and airflow speed, and hold up the cool shot button for north of 10 seconds at a time (yes, you read that right), all you have to do now is flick to activate the i.d. curl™ technology that’s already tailored to your hair needs. For me, this feature alone cut my styling time by a lot because guess what? I don’t have to do all that hair arithmetics myself. From the six-question quiz, the app has deduced that I need 16 seconds of heat and five seconds of cool shot per strand, for a grand total of 31 seconds including the wrapping time. So even though it has a learning curve, the app pretty much answers a lot of the questions for you, even if you’re new to the styler. At the end of that 31-second wait, it goes into Ultra Low Flow Mode to release the curl, signalling that I’m ready for the next section.
