I bought this hair dryer for my wife. Now, I've always thought that she had beautiful hair, but after seeing the results produced by this marvelous invention, I feel confident declaring that her hair BD (before Dyson) actually looked like a rat's nest. And I've never even seen an actual rat's nest! (Or is it rats' nest?) Anyway, this thing is expensive but totally worth it. After seeing the incredible results, my Father-in-Law bought one for his wife (who happens to be my Mother-in-Law) and since she's so happy with it, they're no longer encouraging their daughter to leave me. Very quiet with a large amount of power. Unit has a nine foot cord also.

even tho it's on a pricey end of a model of a regular hair drying. it does get the hair dry super quick and efficient!!! another benefit of this was that it's super quiet and it's about 3 times less noise then the standard hair dryer

So hair blow dryer is so easy and cute to use. We’ve been needing a new one and I’ve been so excited to finally get this one. It’s so fast and doesn’t feel like my hair is burning off. Totally recommend.

Probably the best thing for drying your hair and not leaving it in a crisp. The cooling feature is great if you use max heat. The sound it gives off is not deafening, so it won’t bother you or those around you.

We really love this hairdryer, and even though it was expensive I feel it was worth it. It’s so much quieter to use, you don’t have to worry about it getting too hot on your hair, and the low profile makes it easier to use overall.

When I first heard of a hairdryer that was so expensive, I thought people would be crazy to buy it. After needing to buy cheap hair dryers annually because they'd keep breaking, I finally decided to give this a try knowing I could return it. I didn't return it and it's the main hair dryer we use in our house now. We really like the performance of it and notice it does dry our daughters hair more quickly. The only downside other than it's expensive is the cord is very long and thick so it can get in the way sometimes. We've gotten used to it though and would recommend the Dyson hairdryer.

My favorite hair dryer ever! Much quieter than expected and much more powerful than I anticipated. I love the cold setting which I don't have to keep on pressing the button once set.

I have been contemplating this item for a few years. I never could justify the expense. However, I recently took the plunge and boy am I so happy. I have thick curly hair and always dry my hair upside down with a diffuser. With regular hair dryers, my hair often got stuck in the back vent, it used to get so dusty and gross in there, and the diffusers alllllways fell off. With Dyson, the diffuser stays on and theres no yucky vent to clean and no more hair getting stuck....It does dry faster even on the low heat settings so be careful and dont dry your hair as long as you used to - otherwise you will over dry your hair and thats not good for your styling needs. In fact, its healthier to only dry 80%. Anyhoo - if you are on the fence, then fall for towards the purchase and fall in love with this gadget!

In general I like it although I must admit that since it is not the rotating cable it is a little uncomfortable and in particular this color hurts my eyesight
