Curlers work but time-consuming and does not create the airy blow-dry look. On the first try with the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer, I was astonished with the results, the 2nd time even better & now I have mastered a quick blow dry that is incredibly beautiful--my friends ask me if I just came from the beauty salon.

It is lighter and less noisy compared to the other ones. It looks and feels like a premium product. She also loved the combs that came with it. Highly recommend!

This really cuts down the time it takes to dry my hair. I have very thick layered hair - the type of hair that goes to bed wet and WAKES UP WET. I got so tired of sleeping with 2 layers of towels over my pillow, I finally caved in and bought myself this hair dryer. Yes - it's very expensive. I could've gotten a cheap $50 dryer but those things dry out my hair and I end up frizzy. Dyson blows smoothly and quietly. My hair is not frizzy and I love the temperature controls. I still need to figure out how to use the different attachments. Packaging is nice and elegant. Lots of tutorials on youtube for newbies.

She loves it and it does make her hair look less frizzy. Price is pretty steep but if you want a hair drier that works quickly and doesn't frizz your hair this is supposed to be the best.

Fast drying , different heat levels , I have very long hair and it dry your hair in less then 20 minutes. Normal dryer would take me like 45 minutes to get my hair completely dry

I have super thick curly hair, and it takes FOREVER to dry. Using the Dyson has cut my dry time in half, my hair is less frizzy and easier to straighten.

Wife says it's not worth the price

But my wife says it has more hype to it than it deserves. So, here's the breakdown of pros and cons. Pros: 1. Small top and a hole in it! Looks awesome. 2. Much quieter than your usual hairdryer. Cons. 1. Price (obviously). 2. Buttons to regulate airflow and heat are small but the light holes showing the currently set level are tiny-tiny (hard to see). 3. The circuit-breaker plug is twice as big as on other hair dryers. BUT...there is one extra brick on the cord about 2 feet from (and even bigger than) the circuit-breaker plug. What is it doing there? Is it to remove the processing from the dryer making it smaller and moving it onto the cord? 4. The cord is VERY thick and heavy, making the hair dryer harder to handle. I feel like because the dryer processor is in that brick on the cord, it has to use cord not only one way (to get electricity) but two-ways, making cord at least twice as thick.

It is also the only manufactured hair dryer with the motor in the handle. With the center of mass being close to the handle, it is less arduous when maneuvering the hair dryer from side-to-side as it is not top heavy. We're always keen to provide support if ever needed.
