It is absolutely amazing and I can't say enough good things about it. I have REALLY thick hair that's pretty long. My hair is silky smooth when I'm finished every time & frizz is less of a problem in this TX humidity! I love that the attachments are magnetic & the cord is pretty long so I don't have to stand right up to the counter. I've also noticed I don't get nearly as hot and sweaty now & it doesn't take quite as long to dry & style my hair.

It had too much power and dried out my hair-even in the lowest setting it did not work right. It does dry very fast and is quiet.

Posted .Hi JD, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to learn that the Dyson Supersonic didn't work out better for you, and for your hair type. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

Great dryer for difficult to dry hair

LOVE the simplicity of the unit and also the quality of the product. You will never have to worry about getting any of your hair tangled in this blow dryer. It leaves my hair dry and not dried out. Very quick too! I have also used it on my dog after her bath. Get one!

It really does get my curls dried with the use of the diffuser much faster than I recall other dryers. I like the shape of it and it’s light and easy to hold. Most people may not like the price but Best BUy was the only one offering it at a discounted price. Which was awesome, because I was scoping it out on ulta and going to use points etc. however the discount through Best Buy was much better. Needless to say I like my new dyson I’m very happy with it. It just makes you feel great all around using a quality product to get quality results with your hair.
