It certainly is heavy. Good quality you would expect from Dyson but for the price….its still just a hair dryer. Not worth what they charge, $40-$50 hair dryer pull off the same feat.

I honestly thought I would be returning this item after one use. I have really really thick hair and thought no way would it work on my hair. Today my hair drying went from my normal 45 minutes to under 25!! I usually have to flat iron my hair like crazy after blow drying my hair.. however today I only had to touch a few fly aways up. It drys the hair so fast that the frizz is almost no there. Without having a heating coil, there is a lot less damage. 100% this is an item every lady needs in her bathroom if you have to spend more than 10 minutes doing your hair!!

Bought as Christmas gift for family member. Has lived up to expectations. Pricey but efficient and quiet with moderate to marked reduction in drying time. Love the lower noise level.

I do really like this dryer, but feel it is overpriced. It works pretty much as promised though. Dries my hair quickly, which is a chore with other dryers. My biggest complaint is the heft of the dryer as well as the cord and power pack on it. Surely these all could be lighter. The attachments are very easy to attach and remove.

I purchased the Dyson hairdryer after shoulder surgery. It was much lighter and dried my hair faster! And my shoulder isn’t sore after drying my hair! Love it!
