I’m a hairdresser and I love my hairdryer. Best hairdryer I ever own.

Extremely powerful while also being much quieter than any other hair dryer. Comes with several great attachments that work perfectly when paired with this aesthetically pleasing appliance.

I've been debating this purchase for about two years. It seemed like so much to spend on a hair dryer, but I finally took the plunge and am so glad I did. One of the best things is that there is no place for hair to get sucked in to the motor, a common problem with longer hair and traditional dryer design. It is comfortable to use, dries very quickly, and seems to be gentler on my hair. I also love the magnetic attachments. I used to have issues with nozzles falling off the end of the dryer, but these attach strongly and don't move during use.

I was a bit skeptical at first about the Dyson hairdryer. I've been using various hairdryers my whole life but this is a completely new design and take on these machines and there were a lot of promises about quieter operation, better results, etc. However, I have to say that I'm very impressed with the Dyson! The overall construction and design makes it a lot easier to maneuver while drying my hair. I have fine, straight hair and have always had to dry my hair upside down in order to get the most body out of my hair. I would still end up with a ton of fly-aways. Using the Dyson, I started without any attachments to get some of the moisture out of my hair and then I used the smoothing attachment. The unit was set in the middle for heat and airflow and I would say that my hair was dry in less than 5 minutes. I finished with the “cool shot” and had only a few fly-aways. My hair was a lot shinier and aside from touching up a few ends, I didn’t need to use my flatiron. By not needing the flatiron, using the Dyson has shaved 10-15 minutes off my bathroom routine! Pros: - Ease of use - Design/comfort/control when operating - Weight of the hairdryer at only 1.8 pounds - Magnetic attachments - 3 varying heat and drying settings and the “cool shot” button (very cool temperature and adds a lot of shine). - Much quieter than other hair dryers - Comes with a silicon mat to lay the hair dryer on while it’s still hot Cons: - Price If you’ve ever owned anything from Dyson, you already know the packaging is second to none. Everything was neatly organized and protected within the box and the quality of the packing materials is outstanding. Of course all of this technology, innovation and quality materials and packaging come with a price. That will probably be the biggest deterrent to most people looking at this product. It definitely has the cool factor going for it and there are benefits to using it as noted above. Overall, it is a great product and if you have the extra money to spend on a high quality product that will likely last a while, I highly recommend it.

it's amazing! my hair is so much easier to style, it is powerful and gentle on my hair, I love it. It is too expensive but so far the best hairdryer ever. Unbelievably fast.

Definitely worth the money, cuts down drying time. Quieter than most, if not all hair dryers. Quality of materials and design are not lacking.

Vortex blow dryer, very awesome. A bit on the expensive side, but this hopefully will last for many many years. If you have the spare change to grab it, you should.
