I purchased it for my wife. She loves the design and how it works for her hair. She is in her early 50 and has sensitive hair. I admit it is a bit pricy for a hairdryer but with the gift edition (came with a free Wide Tooth Comb attachment), I think it is worth the price and would recommend anyone. A happy wife makes a happy family.

Wife liked the Dyson very much, but didn't find it to be any better than the Shark Speed Style which was significantly cheaper.

Purchased this hair dryer for my wife as a Christmas present because it is truly the fastest drying most quiet hair dryer I have seen. Since Christmas it as performed above expectations and you can really hear just how quiet this dryer is...amazing! Will recommend to friends and family for anyone that uses a hair dryer daily. Your hearing is important...protect it! Cheers.

I really like the light weight dryer and how fast it dries my long thick hair. The only thing I don't like about this dryer is the cord and the block that is attached to the cord. The cord is the heaviest part of the dryer and the block catches on the side of my vanity and I almost drop the dryer when it catches and pulls it from my hand

I am a hair dresser & I have tried about every high end brand out there & my Dyson dusted all of them. Worth the investment without a doubt. Blow drys faster, smoother & leaves the hair feeling soft and shiny. It's super light weight and ergonomic. I've had multiple clients invest in one since using it behind the chair. I will continue to refer! I'm a dyson customer for years to come!

Robust Dyson quality you expect. It was not cheap. You get what you paid for.

I bought this dryer for my wife who has long hair along with our two daughters, so she spends a lot of time drying hair. There are two truly exceptional aspects to the hair dryer: one, you can actually talk to someone while drying. Most dryers are so loud a person couldn't hear you while screaming, with the Dyson you can speak slightly louder than normal and they can hear you. The second aspect is the fact that all the weight is the handle; it is well balanced, easy to maneuver, and a feels good in your hand. While amazing, is it worth the price??? Probably not unless you are a professional or you spend a lot of time drying hair, because it is a quality of life improvement. My only complaint is the price.....otherwise the dryer is near perfect.
